Im not sure why it seems everyone is considering foley to either libba or cunrow. Ward is averaging around 90 and hasnt droped under 80 all pre season. He will surely chop it up against GC and has beter job security than libba by a mile. Also as he is more epxneive he is a beter link up to a player like selwood, as only 1 downgrade will be required to get him in even around round 7.

Also libba will prbably pick up a sub at some stage possibly this week where i doubt ward will. Libbas Be is huge -120 but ward is still negative and in fact has the same BE as atley.

the Dt talk boys even dont seem to like ward stating the only trades for foley should be down to cunrow or liba. IM already planning the atley to cunrow trade and im deciding between ward and libba to downgrade foley.

Already have Boyd and bewick in my mids and people dont generally like to sideways trade. By doping foley for libba I can go astbury to enright.

i understand the round 4 situation but i dont see why that doesnt rule out libba

i dont really have any need to upgrade other players os i wount be using the cash till i get in my first fallen premium (probably selwood round 7). The only possible need for the cash would be turning darling into jack voldt round 5 but that would hurt my chances of getting selwood.

Libba might not start for some ?

I plan on making the Foley to Ward trade on Thursday. I also like the fact that it will be easier to upgrade to a fallen premium due to Wards higher price. He should get over 100 this week playing GC and will add more to his upcoming price rise. I can see why people are wanting to do the Foley Curnow/Libba trade, but I like the js of Ward so will stick with him.

Ward is a gun. ive had him from the start. imo will score 75-110+ for the rest of the year. hes the perfect option for foley.

you could argue it either way.  Go ward if you want him to be your 6th mid come end of year, a rock in your midfield.  Go Libba to use for potential upgrades and cash reward.  I think both carry pretty decent JS going forward.

agree both have great js. libba may play sub if need be but wont be rested in the 2nds for some time.

i actually plan on getting ward just to keep him for my first upgrade round 7 or if he is performing out in round 10 for gaz, wont be my 6th mid unless he can average 110+ and i don't think that has a chance of happening.

Bluke

im going foley down to ??? because I want to upgrade waters to enright.

someguy

Will be coming in for Foley.

Yeas Ward seems like a good pick, but has anyone considered C. Young he has got 109 and 97 in the first two games and Jones tagged him for the 97!

i dont think Libbas JS is as good as everyone seems to think it is.

yeah i was thinking surely worth is a much safer bet,i think he is worth the 150k. Ward has a much better chance of a 90 average than libba, i think he will still score good but maybe a 75 average from now on.

I feel ward is one of those players that you had to have from the start if you wanted him in your team. I don't really like sideways trades unless im sure what im getting is an absolute premium.

Foley to ward is sideways. Ward is not worthy of a 6th mid spot at the end of the season. I want all my mids on the field to be scoring no less than a 105 average by the end of the season. Ward is capable of 95-100.

I would rather downgarde foley to a curnow/liberatore, and use the extra cash to upgrade another player to an absolute premium
