I feel ward is one of those players that you had to have from the start if you wanted him in your team. I don't really like sideways trades unless im sure what im getting is an absolute premium.

Foley to ward is sideways. Ward is not worthy of a 6th mid spot at the end of the season. I want all my mids on the field to be scoring no less than a 105 average by the end of the season. Ward is capable of 95-100.

I would rather downgarde foley to a curnow/liberatore, and use the extra cash to upgrade another player to an absolute premium

i only plan on ward being in my team for 4 more rounds than i upgrade him to selwood round 7. I dont think dropping him down to libba will allow me to drop duigan to a rookie and upgrade either libba or cunrow to selwood. also if i drop him down to libba i wont be spending the money anyway unless an injury occurs to a mid pricer which is unlikely. So why not start ward over libba for the next 4 rounds.  If ward does come out and score 90+ the next 4 weeks i might keep him a few more untill i get gaz in round 10.

i guess the exta 120k you get from the rookies is a vital bonus for libba and curnow.
