Callan Ward and the Curnow or Libba dilemma.

Probably been done to death, but looking at Curnow and/or Liberatore. Have Callan Ward and not sure if he's worth persisting..

Team is as follows

Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Grundy, Grimes, Otten, Lower (Duigan, Toy, Batchelor)

Swan, Judd, Selwood, Ward Heppell, Harris (D Swallow, Bewick, Conca)

Sandilands, Cox (Smith, J Tip)

N Riewoldt, Franklin, Pavlich, Goodes, Petrie, Krakouer, Tapscott (Darling, Richardson, Matera)

Could get away with D Swallow starting if Curnow or Libba flunk it I suppose..

Not too sure that the dogs will play Libba up against the big midfields. He is solid for an 18 year old, but Bartel would destroy him physically. Ward is guaranteed to play every week. Plus how can you not love him with a hair style like that?

Trades are like gold and the difference between the casual fantasy footey goer and a pro is that the pros are patient and know that if in doubt, you prob shouldn't trade.
Your team is pretty good atm and you have lots of cash cows who by the time we get to the pointy end will be making you heaps of money.  Ward will get games and will prob avg what he is at now or a bit higher by the end so just wait until you are ready to upgrade then move him out for a premium.  Dogs have GC this week so you wouldn't get rid of him until the bye anyway.

Yeah, not being 100% sure is stopping me so far. Just throwing some ideas on screen. Have noted the Dogs have GC this week so Ward should do the business and score more then last week (85) and has looked alright so far. Thoughts on maybe offloading Bewick or Conca?? still think both of these guys will play most of the year for their respective teams.

Yeah a 70 and a 80 is a good start. Had a few issues with players around his price in previous years (Masten, T Tuck) so I'm keeping an open mind lol.

Conca and Bewick will play most of the year.  Just give them time.  Once Bewick gets his efficiency up, he'll be averaging 75+ 
You sound unsure, leave it.  Your team is good as it is.  Ward will be a steady score week in and week out until you grab pendles ;)

Yeah, good idea, thats what I do too.  For some reason I can't get into dreamteam like I do SC so I don't care about burning trades early.

Just been doing some quick thinking with SC.. Would you guys recommend going Conca > Curnow and Bewick > Libba?? or just keep Conca and Bewick and expect them to go up in cash and SC points as well..

I am going Conca-Libba and not trading in Curnow (don't like JS).

leave bewick, he will do well especially agasint gcfc and richmond twice.

maybe conca--> liba/curnow

but personally i don't see a real need for the trade, becoz you have a few good rookies already (tapscott, lower)

conca was always overpriced b4 the start of the season, imo.

the trade makes more sense, for those who missed out on the right rookies, or chose the wrongs ones based on jobs ecurity
