I'm sold on Tommy gun and will be getting him into my team on Friday, as long as he's named to play. My question is who do i trade out. Options are:

Rohan Bewick - averaging 70.50, looked pretty good on the weekend and bound to get plenty of games in a mediocre Lions side.

Shane Savage - averaging 65.50. I'm a touch worried about his j/s altho Clarkson apparently has a man crush on him. Leaning towards him at present.

David Swallow - averaging 58. Liked what i saw on Saturday night. To me, altho it would free up some $$ i really don't want to trade him after 1 game.

Thoughts guys??

of the three savage but is this trade necessary?

boo-yaa

what is your whole mid field like? agreed that it may be a waste of a trade, you already have good bench cows.

its going to be foley on the outta for me.

thatguy

definitely seems a waste consdiering your three rookies are all playing and scoring ok

My midfield reads: Swan, Gibbs, Bartel, Boyd, Montagna, Harris.

I wanted to swap Gibbs back into my backline with Hibberd. Having Gibbs back there means i can drop Nick Lower or Andy Otten to the bench. Then in my midfield have Libba on the ground, obvisouly taking the spot Gibbs vacated. I think Libba has a higher scoring potential than Otten, Lower and the 3 i mentioned in my 1st post hence why i want to bring him in and start him over those players.

So is it worth burning a trade for maybe 20-30 more points a round? The more i think about this the more it seems a waste lol. Aaaarrrggghhh

Be wary that if you trade in Libba then in round 4 him, Boyd, Montagna and Bewick all have the bye

Bluke

swap gibbs into the backline and trade hibberd.

I think u just made up my mind for me. I still thought i could cover this but revisiting it it seems i can't. I could do a double and give Joey the boot {underperforming at this stage}, take a massive risk and bring in Embley {owned by 0.51% of teams}.  :P Think ill just sit on things for now. Cheers for the suggestions/pointers

@Bluke - Hibberd's mpp is the thing from stopping me making that trade atm

Bluke

Okay, fair enough. Although the value of MPP remains to be seen so far this season I'm sure it will come into play in the multibye rounds.

This is by far your best option!!!!

be stupid to keep a rookie that hasn't played and trade another thats playing. This way you keep all your playing rookies and get the man you want... then in about rd 7 when Hibberd is on the bubble trade Savage to him.
