Round 3 trade plan

It's looking like a double trade this week for Barney and Friends. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Hayes ----> Pendles*

Hibberd/I.Smith (if they aren't named next week and I will lose my MPP capabilities) ------> Curnow (already have Libba :D)

*Should I trade Hayes out this week for Pendles (don't wanna miss out on the Pendles train) or NDS or wait for 1-2 rounds and get Montagna or Selwood cheaper?

if you go for overall probably go the pendles option if you go for league than probably beter to wait and see.

agree with holzman, get pendles for overall, or wait if you want league win and just get selwood imo...unless you thinking of bringing in chappy or already have a cats MID.

So here's what I think:

Hibberd or I.Smith to Curnow (done deal)

and keep Lenny on the bench this week and get Montagna next week or get either Bartel or Pendles this week for him?

Yeah that sounds good. With the money you save on the montagna trade you can upgrade your other cash cows mid season. As long as you have goot a decent bench there should be no worries on keeping lenny there for a couple of weeks. You could even get selwood dirt cheap if you wait a few weeks longer. He was on fire before he got k-o'd
i think it was like 1.8 pts per minute

yeah i think selwood was on track to have the highest score in round 1. i think his points per minute was number 2 and actually did better than swanny.

pendles has a bye rnd 7. if you're going for league u only get points from him for 1 rnd, and anything can happen in 4wks, till he scores again 4 u. if you wait till then u can also see how rok, goodes, joey and nicky dal go . joey should come down, but goodes, rok and nicky will prolly rise . i will end up trading hayes to rok, he looks like he's over his hamstring and was moving very smoothly against the bombers. i'll keep the cash for later trading

i agrree. safe thing to do would be to just sit on it and see what happens over the next couple of weekks. with malthouse talking of resting his starsfrequently it has me wooried about pendles. yea he is a great dter and player but you need to look at the pros and cons. f you wait you get the pick out of selwood, montag and any other premiums which fall
