It is inevitable, Liam Anthony must go. As he costs 355k and i dont have any spare money i am finding it quite difficult to find someone I can trade him for. So now i am considering trading

Liam Anthony -> Curnow
and
Atley -> Liberatore

Is this stupid, and should i be putting in another mid-premium to replace Anthony?

Please help

thanks

Bluke

Anthony wont play sub again soon. Scott made a blunder clear as day.

Hold onto Anthony he will be a keeper.

agree with bluke. dnt doubt ure premiums after 2 rounds. theres pleeeeenty of footy left. u were confident anthony would be a good dter at the start. u shouldnt be swayed by one average game in rd 2 where he was used as a sub.

bundyboy

 are you looking just to make cash??...ok, then trade = all other circumstances DON'T

anthony is a keeper...slow start maybe, but keeper non the less............

ronl

Anthony = class.  You will definately regret trading him.

NOWAY

thanks for all the advise. looks like im keeping him. hopefully i can pull a win this week despite the roos having a bye. another reason why i was considering loosing anthony

Ziplock

lol dude, he scored what, 60+ points in like a quarter? and you're going to trade him?

so, if swan and pendles are collingwoods subs next week, you gonna trade them out?

bad move :P

maccar86

you want expect help with a rookie question?

Hold on to Anthony, assuming you have cover for round 3 as NM have the bye. Having said this I do not think he will be a keeper this year. He will not produce scores worth keeping. I'd wait till teams are named round 5 to consider, he will have played his 3 games for market value. I do not see any vallue in him. That is quite a bit of cash sidelined

diddley

just do it. burn a trade straight away. who needs trades come finals time anyway?

50 points in a 1/4 is pretty decent, would you be happy to keep him if he had a 100 average?

Blueboys

I am going to go againest what has been posted here, I am not going to say Anothany is a prem player, sure he can score 100+ but is he consistent I would have to say not so far. When I look at prem players in the mid where talking the likes of Swan, Goddard, Judd etc.

Think everyone is expecting this to be his break out year and it could but better value out there atm.

Thats my 2 cents worht and if it come back and bites me on the ass I am sure someone will rub it in!  :P lol

bundyboy

yep.... goddard.... consistently crap premium so far.........

but seriously....... tend to agree with you - DT premium tag only for long term high scoring consistency, and Anthony not quite there yet - but gee, awfully close.

Keep him !
