Kennedy/Foley to Ward/O'Keefe?

Current midfield: Swan, Boyd, Kennedy, Foley, Harris, Swallow, (Bewick, Prestia, Heppel)

Would eventually move O'Keefe to the forwardline, Ward would eventually be upgraded after making me 100K+.

Key questions:

  • Is O'Keefe likely to maintain his good form and finish with a 95+ average, or will he revert back to his 2010 form (86 average)?
  • If I hold onto one player who do I hold onto: Kennedy or Foley?

Thoughts?

ROK's 2010 form was injury riddled, he should be fine this year!
Foley has the potential to become a great player this year, but I just don't see him becoming a keeper. However, if I were to hold one, it'd be him.

Thanks for the response. Reckon it's better to only go Kennedy to ROK and keep Foley?

I'm more suspect on O'keefe, has the potential to fade out throughout the year, I for one am staying away.

But trade foley, hes only in 25,000 teams and I think it will be 10,000 by this friday. Do urself a favour and cut him.

Hes too slow for the tigers nowadays, always behind the play.

What are the chances of Kennedy cleaning up his act??  I had such high hopes for him this season!

Not sure. He had a groin cramp agaisnt Melbourne and so I assumed he'd bounce back against Essendon, but he still looked poor. Unfortunately I think he handballs too much for DT without making up the scoring with tackling, marking or goal kicking. I have my doubts about O'Keefe but he does have the potential to average 95+ and was limited last season by his groin injury. The way I see it, he is a bargain if he can continue his form and average 95+ and if he doesn't he should still average around 85+ which is fine for a 5-7th forward.

bump. any other thoughts/opinions?

Kennedy I'm not sure about. He only had the one good game over the preseason. Although he did finish last year strongly. The fact he has had TOG for low output isnt that great a sign.

Consider that Palmer scored ~55 the last two weeks, is priced the same as kennedy but has missed more than half a game each week because he has been subbed off.

I think ROK is a terrific alternative. Slipped under the radar on this site a bit this year and I'll look to include him after the swans second by potentially.

Pretty much locked in then. Will pull the trigger at the end of the week.
