such a stupid decision, buddy is a keeper and you got him as a keeper, so KEEP HIM. he is averaging 79.5....yes that isnt fantastic, and isnt what you got him for but he will get there. He dominated the game last week in the second half, imagine what it is like when strings a full game together. You will be regretting it when he is in the top 3, if not the top FWD scorer, your only going to get him back again.

I think its a stupid trade, so why bother, its going to be a 3-4 way trade round trip. 1 to get rid of him, then 2 or 3 to get him back when he starts firing.

Yeah, but when they start doing things well for you, which I'd suspect him to do for a majority of the season, I'm guessing your opinion will shift favourably toward the buddy side.

You are getting your wish, Holzman. After Spuddy has dropped a 100K and IF he starts posting big scores, I'll do a single trade on a mid-priced improver who's made cash to get him back in. Meanwhile my trade down will have made the 100K he dropped and I'll have more cash to play with than you.

If you think Dawes will continue to avg 115 and Pendles 131 or around that then do it. But also think do you reckon Buddy could get any worse scores than what hes doing right now? Mate i was as frustrated as everyone was at half time on the weekend with him but im just excited to know that he still scored OK, just wait till he gets his sh!t together.

I would love Dawes and Pendles in my team (and i will probs get Pendles soon), but R7 and 13 are gonna hurt your team. 3

I personally can see both sides of it but i couldnt justify spending 2 trades on it and then MAYBE you get him back again.

Maybe I'm letting my dislike for him colour my decision, but just thinking you gotta have Pendles and that's my best way to do it. I know what you're saying R7 and R13. But hoping Bewick and Harris can cover. Should have enough wins in my league to be more than fine and just waear the byes as my bench cover is solid. If people keep banging on about Spuddy, I might have to heed their advice and keep him. Had thought about trading Broughton down, but the trade down options in defence are far more shower than Dawes up forward. Thanks for all the opinions though, folks. Appreciated.

if you are going for league than there trading him out isn't horrible, if you go for overall it is.

Its a marathon, not a sprint. As much as it pains me to say, short term gains aint worth the long term heartache.

What happens when you run out of trades and your stuck with 3 injuries that you dont have cover for and 300k in the bank. You'd hate dreamteam.

i agree 100% if it for league its a really bad choice but for overall its basically the same as hitting the remove team button.
