Foley Trade

Hey everyone.

I have Nathan Foley in my team and he has let me down massively over the past two weeks. I understand that he had gastro and then played St Kilda but at this rate he is going to drop in price. Should I trade him out or not? The people i am looking at to replace him are;
Ward
Curnow
D Swallow
Someone else

I have 245k to do this without any further downgrade trades.
My current midfield is; Swan, Boyd, Montagna, Bartel, Foley, Harris - Bewick, Prestia, Hibberd

What are your thoughts on this? Are you guys in the same boat as me?

He needs to be traded, I dont care whether he'll come good, I cant sit around and watch him score 50's for the next few weeks.

I'm trading him our for Curnow, despite everyone saying his job security is average,which after his 2 games I cant see.

I"ll use the cash elsewhere, I'm sick of jokers like Foley hardly having an impact, especially in the midfield, there are far too many big scores in the midfield to have, then waste a spot on foley. Oh and I'll put Harris on the field.

Depending on how Ward goes today I may do a sideways trade to him... Don't like wasting trades this early on but I don't want to sit around for a few weeks waiting for him to come right. Curnow could be a good option too, he should rise in price nicely after next round!

still im not convinced about curnows JS at all.

At least you can make some cash out of it.  Foley -> Curnow makes you over $100k and probably gives you better returns over the next few weeks.

Then when Curnow goes up in price after next week(at least another 100k there) you'll be ready to make Curnow a premium by week 5 when he loses his spot.  i think its a no brainer

Why would this kid get replaced by anyone else. He's done nothing wrong and he fits into the side really well.

Pederson was dropped because there were better ruckman ahead of him, Goldstein and Petrie, as for Curnow, he's playing his role and doing it with class.

If he is around for another 4-5 rounds before carltons bye he'll be worth mid 250k or more.  I'm on....

I'm also a little bit concerned over curnow JS bit he has been playing great. mclean may take his spot but it he wasnt on the injury list this week and didnt take his spot, didnt play either

Really kicking myself....

don't trade...don't trade.....don't trade after rd 1 was my rule....

cost me 200 points and game not trading !!

so unless injuries during the week - going with what I talked myself out of last week

Foley > Curnow (shows now he is likely going to be a regular)
Palmer > Swann (not going to get any cheaper any time soon now)

use all my cash, but gives me about 200 points more than I got over last 2 weeks with these guys plus permanent lock captain that doesn't let me down (like Goddard)

just hate the fact that I didn't trust my gut doing it last week !    :'(
