Would a top 8 finish mean much for the bombers?

Should, but remember being a young team we will be inconsistent. As you said we'll beat teams we shouldn't and lose to teams we shouldn't.
We SHOULD win every game up until then, I have a feeling we will lose one of them though.

The number of games you win is directly proportional to the amount of screaming you do at the game. :) Keep the faith.

I'd say the teams that are better then Bombers are Collingwood, Geelong, Hawks, Freo. I reckon we could beat pretty much anyone else.

bunyip

And you'd probably beat Freo down here, and I'd say a toss of the coin with the Hawks. The cats may still be ahead of you, but you're catching up. the point is, I don't think a top 4 finish is unrealistic. See where you are after round 12, if you've won 7 your on the way.

Alex7089

We are a chance but if we don't make it I won't be disappointed.

Geelong, Hawks, Freo are better than us.
But sydney have a better draw so Id back them to finish higher.
Collingwood
Geelong
Fremantle
Hawthorn
Sydney
Essendon
Carlton
Bulldogs

Thats the Top 8 IMO.

maybe the function is a decreasing relation?

a decreasing function definitely fits into by proportion of screaming/winning :P

the bombers should make the finals. they have performed well but need to see if that drops off over the half way mark
