Melbourne were talking about triple teaming buddy this weekend with frawley, garland and rivers on him. Does buddy usually get this much attention?

yorgis

they meant that they could alternate 3 guys on him

hardnut

if they play 3 on Franklin Roughie would kick 10...I think it basically means the Dee's haven;t a clue how they will shut him down. A slow DT start for Buddy in round 1 but 2.6 could easily have been 6.2. He'll go well against the Dee's.

Oh hahah righto thanks guys :) I though three was overkill ha

i dont think even 3 guys would stop buddy :) he seems to never go under 6 scoring shots a game, if he could kick straight he could get 100 goals easy this season

so cyril and roughhead to dominate then....?

Mish

they will never have 3 players on him, they will just rotate. buddy, hale and rioli will demolish them if they dont give those guys attention.

I hope Roughy dominates this season he is always in the shadow of Franklin and it really depends if the Hawks ruck work stands up. This has been thier weakness over the past few seasons. Sammy really needs to get his game back with some more clearances.

PS. If it was NRL there'd be three on Franklin lol

They man-handle Buddy all game anyway, and the umpires let it slide because he's good enough to still do well.
If he got treated the same as Ablett, Selwood, or Judd (or how Lloyd used to)...he'd get 10 scoring shots a game MINIMUM, and kick 100 easy...
