I'd say Duigan and Matera.

Duigan played well, but did a couple of turnovers. Once he gets used to the pace of Afl he will produce solid 80's.

Matera can score 100 from 15 touches. He'll have good and bad games though.


One you could have added to the list is Charlie Dixon. He'll kick some goals and take contested marks inside 50. Good scoring plays.

im thinking ill wait for astbury to rise to 300,000 (if he makes it) then hopefully downgrade to mckernan??

I wouldn't be confident that McKernan will be able to keep his spot in that team with Tippet and Jacobs to return.

I too have Astbury but am giving him one more week, If he doesn't improve I'll be trading him for
Robbie Tarrant.

you've got to give your pick some time mate, it's only been 1 game!!!!   :o

it's murphy's law - you'll trade out Astbury and then he will go BANG! and you'll be crying that you jumped off and wasted a precious trade.

80% of the topics and posts in these "players and trades" sections for SC and DT this week, have been about this and you should pick up by now that you don't waste trades - i'm not saying no trading at all after Rd1 (eg some people will get off Browny/LeCras and there's no problem with that) but barring LTI or some other exceptional circumstance you shouldn't be burning trades at this stage ...
