OK thought I would make an absurd multi bet, but wont be placing the bet since I can't log in to my sportsbet account at the moment...

So here it is:

Pies v Tigers: Half time margin - Collingwood +37 - $3.50
Hawks v Eagles: 1st scoring play - Hawthorn behind - $3.20
Dons v Blues: Essendon win - $1.91
Swans v Cats: Geelong win - margin 1-39 points - $2.30
Power v Crows: Halftime/Fulltime Double - Port Adelaide/Adelaide - $7.00
Suns v Demons: Melbourne win - margin 1-39 points - $2.40
Dockers v Roos: 1st Team to Score - Fremantle - $1.66
Special bet: Leading goal scorer for the entire round - Chris Dawes - $7.00

Total odds of 9,604.94
Payout from $5 bet - $48,024.70

Let's look at the round 7 games means a lower prize pool probably

Tiges-Pies: Does anyone think Richmond can win? ANYONE? Collingwood over 39.5 @ $1.55

Carlton-Essendon: Essendon have been playing well and generally have Carlton's number, even when they're down on form, so let's play the value card here. Essendon by 20-39 @ $5.50

Hawthorn-WCE: Eagles have started okay but a young side traveling against a hot Hawks side? I don't think so. Hawthorn over 39.5 @ $1.87

The Showdown: Swing the axe Primus! Swing the Axe! *clap clap*. On the other hand the Crows haven't been doing much better. The Golden Rule of Multis applies here "When in Doubt. Play the Line". Crows giving 18.5 @ $2.00

Sydney-Geelong: Cats are back in town but the Swans are no slouches and play the SCG well. We'll take the Swans under 39.5 @ $2.65

Freo-North: I don't see North winning unless Freo are inept, could change if Sandi doesn't play though....Let's search Value though. Freo by over 39.5 @ $2.25

GCS-Melbourne: Call me crazy but I think GCS might improve quite a bit in this game. It won't help much on the scoreboard but I envision it could be less than 10 goals. As such we'll take Melbourne over 39.5 @ $2.05

Bonus Game. NRL Saturday Syd Roosters-Brisbane: The Roosters have been terrible to start off the season, The Broncos are 4-1. A lot of people say the rockets the Roosters are getting will fire them up but I'm willing to bet the slump will last at least 1 more week. Broncos by 1-12 @ $3.75

Combined Odds: $1461.43
Payout (For $5): $7307.15

That's why I added the special goal scoring bet in mine, so there were still 8 bets. Extremely good odds I think for my multi, especially just for Dawes to be leading goal scorer. Against the Tiges he should run riot!

roo boys!

That is very good value for Dawes in form against the Tiges! Did no-one see buddy last week on Grimes?

Stupid Thursday games messing up my schedule. Who came up with this idea?

WCE-Melb: Two teams well refreshed, two teams with a lot of questions still. Two teams that most of the AFL couldn't give a stuff about :P. Tight game means we'll use the KISS strategy. Melbourne straight out @ $2.15

Sydney-Carlton: Sydney's coming off the bye and plays the SCG better than anywhere else, Carlton had to scrap and claw to win over Adelaide. Swans under 39.5 @ $2.45

Adelaide-St Kilda: Both sides need a win, Both sides far from convincing. Another tough game, but when in doubt, go the class. St Kilda under 39.5 @ $2.60

North-Port: North absolutely have to win but Port were humiliated, if they're ever going to show anything it's this week. That makes me wary and a little gunshy here. Port on the line getting 15.5 @ $1.90

Richmond-Brisbane: Tiges are back after a good win, facing a Brisbane side that's had a loooong rest. Brisbane if they play up to the St Kilda game standards can match....but I don't think so. Searching for Value we'll take the Tiges 20-39 @ $4.00

Collingwood-Bulldogs: Collingwood were tested, Dogs dropped one they should've had. I'm wary of a side coming back from Perth but with the intensity of the Anzac Day game it's probably a push. The Pies under 39.5 @ $2.30

Essendon-GCS: Suddenly this game has a bit of interest. The Bombers are coming off a bruising game and may be vulnerable. The Suns are basking in the glow of their first win.......No I don't think it will help them either. Bombers 60+ @ $1.85

SUPER SPECIAL BONUS GAME! NRL Friday Brisbane-Bulldogs: Brisbane have shocked everyone so far and a lot of critics are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.....Not this week. The Bulldogs blow.....HARD. Brisbane straight out @ $1.72

Combined Odds: $761.76
Payout (for $5): $3808.80

They all seem plausable, but I think bombers by under 60 points. I also don't like how you have bet against my AFL and NRL teams :( Carlton aren't doing too badly so could get the win against a Sydney team off the back of a bye and the Bulldogs are also doing well, just leaking too many trys and penalties close to goal. I think this is a hard round of betting for most games to get value, yes we can pick most of the winners but by how much is the hard question.

benjy251090

Alright, I have put one together in the same mould as BP. My betting is done with Centrebet and will not put the bet on until I have some expert opinions :P.

WCE-Melb: Two young teams on the up both off the bye. Anything can happen. I think it will be a close game so either team under 39.5 would be good but I feel Melbourne are a better side, even if they do have to play at Perth. Melbourne Under 24.5 @ $3.95

Sydney-Carlton: Carlton's woeful kicking kept Adelaide in the game. If they can kick straight, anything can happen. However, as it is at the SCG I am going with the Swans by about 5 goals. Swans under 39.5 @ $2.59

Adelaide-St Kilda: Both sides not playing very well, even though they have not been smashed by anyone. However, with St. Kilda getting a win it may lead to better things for them. St Kilda under 39.5 @ $2.85

North-Port: Anything could happen in this game, as we saw with Port last week. I really don't know how it is going to go. Either team could win or lose by a big margin but I am going with North. North under 39.5 @ $2.28

Richmond-Brisbane: Tigers got a win after looking alright most the season. Brisbane looking a little better than last year so I don't think it will be a shalacking. Richmond under 24.5 @ $3.40

Collingwood-Bulldogs: Collingwood are still the best team and will win comfortably. Bulldogs however are no slouches and need a win. I think it may be around a 5 goal margin so playing it safe. The Pies under 39.5 @ $2.22

Essendon-GCS: Again, anything can happen in this game. Gold Coast getting the win but the Bombers have looked the goods all season. It will be an Essendon win, but by how much. Going to go with something different here. Bombers between 25 - 36 at halftime @ $4.00

Combined Odds: $2007.09
Payout (for $5): $10035.48

I believe that they could all happen. What are your thoughts?

Alex7089

Great odds there...Certainly good value. I think there is bound to be a blowout SOMEWHERE. I just don't know where :P

benjy251090

haha, yeah, definite good value, but I don't think there will be a blow out, there wasn't one last week from memory

Some nice bets there guys  ;)  good luck.  Here is my 5c worth  ( $5 actually  :P )

West Coast vs Melbourne - Eagles have a good recent history against the Dees, but I don't expect a blowout. Eagles 1-39 @ $2.25.
Sydney vs Carlton - Sydney are fresh after the bye, while Carlton had a bruising encounter with the Crows. Sydney rarely thrash good teams though. Swans 1-39 @ $2.35.
North Melbourne vs Port Adelaide - I expect the Kangas to kick off their season against a pathetic Port outfit. Kangas 25+ @ $2.30.
Richmond vs Brisbane - Richmond have been very competitive this season, but the Lions seem to play their best footy at the MCG. Lions to cover the line, +17.5 @ $1.92.
Adelaide vs St Kilda - This should be a low scoring affair, with neither team dominating. I'm taking the easy option of either team to win by less than 15.5 points @ $2.50.
Essendon vs Gold Coast - Personally I think this is the best bet of the round. Suns will only be thinking about last weeks amazing win over port, while the Bombers will be thinking about boosting their percentage significantly. Bombers to lead at half time by more than 33.5 points @ $1.92.
Collingwood vs Western Bulldogs - Doggies are coming back from Perth, and the Pies will be looking for a good performance before heading  into the bye. Collingwood have dominated the Bulldogs in recent times. Pies to cover the line, -33.5 @ $1.92.

Total odds - $215.19.
Total collect for $5 - $1075.95.
