Boys I was outside going for a run during the first quarter, obviously not at AFL pace but I can tell ya while it was warmish it was bloody beautiful! it would've been only like 20% humidity, if players can't recover from playing in that they never will!

The heat wont effect Darlings recovery, hes 18 not 80 and they've been training and playing in that heat for the last two months. Sunday was cool compared to some of the days we've had over here.

Thats why I laughed when I read the article about Scott claiming that gave them an advantage. Pretty piss weak effort at mind games IMO

Darling played in the same heat as the roos, but he is my choice out of the 3.
Darling has been playing/training in the Perth heatwave the whole summer so he'll be used to it. I want to say Darling as he shud go well against Port as theyre run out of defense is pretty slow n Jack has been known to do some great chase down tacked which will add to his score. Plus the fact that the Eagles are without a gun forward in LeCras they'll probly look for Darling as a target. In saying that Wilson may come into the team aswell, giving West Coast 3 big targets in Wilson, Darling and Kennedy, plus the rotation of Cox and NicNat and unfortunately also Lynch

Lynch should only play if we are down a ruckman. Taking the spot of Callum Wilson who deserves a chance this season (like he did last season). We look alot more structured with him up forward and while he isnt the most agile bloke if he can average 3+ goals a game he is doing his job and filling in for Lecca.

Out: Lynch, Masten, Lecras
In: Naitanui, Weedon, Wilson

Kerr needs another week in the WAFL. I dont think its a good idea flying him to Port and potentially getting a Kornes tag. He needs one more week of conditioning in the WAFL then a home game against Sydney (where the emotional aspect can hopefully fire him up). I think he needs to build some confidence after so long out of the game and a home crowd against an old rival is the best way to do that. Not a hostile one with purhaps the best tagger of the last few years.

Really dont understand why they included him this week.

McGinnity I get. He's in to tag Pearce or Boak or one of the small forwards like Gray.

But seriously whats the point of playing Kerr in this match? They would be better of playing Koby Stevens, he could fill a similar role to Kerr (inside midfielder). He would be more fit, has been in good form during the preseason and its worth getting some games into him.

Kerr on the other hand has everything to loose and not alot to gain. If they want to get fitness into him he can do that in the WAFL. He has been out of the team so long that he and the other midfielders will have to rebuild their chemistry. Trying to do that against Port, a team we struggle against, especially in Adelaide is just dumb. Especially up against Kane Cornes.

Still they're the experts I guess.

1 to play on field....

Dont like Richardosn v pies.
Matera against Carlton, may play as a small forward in a losing side? wouldnt be good. Or will he push up the ground? Will see where he is named.
Darling quality last week and plays against PA this week

Totally agree with you on Richardson
I am starting Darling with Matera and Richardson on the bench, Matera with the E
