Hang on I'm no expert on the current Magpies shirt, but doesn't the traditional one have 3 white stripes?
Glad to see they have decided to take such bold action and get rid of a stripe! *note sarcasm

I mean why couldn't they wear something like this? (This only took me 5 minutes, imagine what they could do since they have a whole year to think about it)

Sif the Pies need more money. We have enough money for ourselves, and we're paying for Melbourne, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide and just about every team at one point or another.

For the past 5 or so years, North has  been sooking about how they can't wear their jumper vs Collingwood....we've finally relented, but still keep our black and white stripes, and next thing we hear is that North has started this 'earn your stripes' crusade against us this week! The ads on radio about it are bordering on embarrassing.... I sincerely hope we boot the living suitcase out of them.......

CF you and your Crows have something in common with Carlton which Collingwood have tried to avoid and that is the sell-out principle.

As Os mentions the Blue M&M debarcle is one of this competitions lowest moments and any team who decides that it would be a good theme song which goes "here we go here we go Camry Crows" just cannot understand our plight. Maybe the wine I unusually had at lunch has made me more combatant but we are a working class (albeit now very wealthy) club which has tried to keep to its principles & preserving the jumper is just one of those. We know it annoys everyone but nearly all of the away jumpers over the years are laughable. CF please do not play around with our sacred jumper, I'd prefer you put your energy into something less symbolic like our National flag.  ;)

What does a Carlton team wearing full white or light blue sponsored by a chocolate company have to do with the great side of the late 70's and early 80's .... nothing. Bruce Doull would hang his bearded, hippy head in shame.

Conversly I think Bob Rose, Gordon Coventry and the Colliers would be happily associated with the current jumper, song and outlook of the current Collingwood club.

Gee that marketing campaign by North " earn your stripes" seemed to go well.

I think their Management need to focus on something slightly more important than their jumper.
