Looks like the Pies are becoming a little more inclusive with their success and have agreed to wear an away jumper. Two points:

- It is widely unknown that Collingwood donated/provided significant money to North as remuneration for the prior jumper  arrangement & I think it has been nicely handled by both sides that this was never disclosed.

- I'm  very comfortable with this 'away' strip as it looks almost exactly like our current jumper.

Thoughts?

It's about time Eddie decided to deviate from tradition, as he likes to call it. Everybody else has for the sake of the game...

Yeah but have you seen the strip, I think he's got away with a PR scam. It's basically the same.

Yeh I know, but at least they have an alternate strip now.

haha thats so ridiculous, sure when u line the jumpers up side by side standing still u can tell the difference but isnt the point of clash strips alternate jumpers to make it easy to tell the difference between teams when moving quickly? id like to see a collingwood one like the hawks somethin like this...

Cruiseon

Marcz, your proposed jumper has a major flaw - the Hawk!

RiOtChEsS

ah yeah while i can photoshop im not gonna spend 15minutes on a collingwood jumper :P

altho its not traditional i rekn those jumpers look decent...

ossie85

When players start kicking to opposition players because they got confused who was on their team, then I'll take this argument seriously.

RiOtChEsS

i think its related to the look of the game from a tv point of view and for umpires not players... could be wrong :-\
