He played backline, but did a lot of running through the midfeild. Used the ball well, and looked comfortable.
Even better, his teammates weren't afraid to kick it to him either.

Be interesting to see what happens Round 2, as Hibberd is due back in the side, and apparently plays the same sort of role.

but how serious was Hibberd's inj?? have heard almost nothing except that Hirdy indicated Hibb should be ok for Rd2.

i did think Hibberd had the better pre-season - imagine what he could've done if he was inj-free and played Rd1 too??   ???
