okay so I cant believe this has happened..

I had prestia on the field with tapscott and darling emergencies.  I scored 2034 when my opponent scored 2035. however, they have taken darlings score of 64 to replace prestia, rather than tapscotts score of 80.

how could this of happened!?!?!?

wouldnt they take the highest scoring emergency?

Kevo

Why did you have prestia on the field? I think they have always taken the lowest scorer out of two emergencys

footyfan11

i couldnt remove the captain off swannie, therefore to utilise gibbs' vc score i had to change the captain to a non-playing player. i thought id put both tapscott and darling as emergencies in the assumption that they would take whoever scored higher

BGK

They have always taken the lowest score. Should only set 1 emergency for each area.

Just so you know for future years, all you had to do was trade swanny out, save your team then bring swanny back in. The C wouldnt be on anyone

valkorum

If you have 2 emergencies then the lowest will always be the score they use.  Been like that for as long as I can remember

yorgis

true bestguykai. you trade out capt, SAVE team and trade him back in , capt logo will be removed. lowest emegency scorer for each pos is the one thats counted

Mish

this is what happens when using loop hole goes wrong. lol

Yea happened to me 2 years ago I didn't realize it but I was going to lose anyway so it sucks for you but it's been like that for ages

i love it when people try to be smart and it backfires  ;D

Yeah sorry man, has been in the rules for years. To stop people doing exactly what you were doing :)

not sure if it wa the same for dreamteam, but there was another fantasy footy comp where the emergencies were not allocated field positions, this enabled you to pick 3 zero scoring defenders and have 3 mids as emergencies, thereby getting 3 additional mids on the field. they closed that loophole when they realised what was happening.

Windigo

Personally I didn't do this "LoopHole" thing.

I'm not that desperate or that greedy for points.

Had Full confidence in Swan.  8)

I was to dense to take advantage of it, good old captain swan

Double emergency thing sucks better of picking one in each line unless u r unsure 1 will play otherwise as you found out it's the lowest score

This is the Official description of Emergencies on the DT site

"Select up to THREE emergencies. Emergencies from your reserves list will replace up to three non-scoring players in your starting line-up in matching positions only. Where there are 2 or more emergencies selected in one position and only one of these is required, the lowest scoring emergency will be used. If no emergency is available for a 0-scoring player in a certain position, you'll not receive any points from that player. (Note: emergencies scoring 0 will not be considered the 'lowest-scoring' and will not be used). Emergencies can simply be toggled on or off with a click of the Emergency button."
