Apologies for the wait.

My picks are Josh Drummond and Andrew Krakouer.

Both 27 and bloody good players when played right.
Drummond defined the "Quarterback" role in modern day football and does it brillantly.
He will take the kick outs with his potent left foot and will be a great player that will break lines and set up goals from the back pocket with his fantastic skills. Krakouer can play midfield effectively and also forward. For me he will be starting forward pocket and help Eddie with his forward pressure and goal sense. will switch into the midfield with Cyril and I think he can be very effective there in short bursts.

Boomz

damn was gonna pick him >:( still tons of defenders...

RiOtChEsS

yeah definitely still some good ones out there, pretty much why i left defenders til the end...

Well I'm going to pick someone who you could say is the forgotten man of the Melbourne midfield. With the arrival of Scully and Trengove at picks 1 and 2 in the 2009 draft, people have seemed to forgotten that Melbourne already had an extremely talented midfielder who was taken at pick 4 in the 2007 draft, plus the addition of him being injured at the start of the season didn't help. I am talking of course about Cale Morton! Turned 21 at the start of the year Morton is a tough midfielder (although doesn't look it) who is strong in the air, has a great kick and is capable of winning his own ball, so he will play in the guts with Jack, following Sandi around getting their hands on the ball from his taps. He is extremely fit and can run all day, which is just what you want in a midfielder.

My team
FB: C. Brown, Rutten, ...
HB: Hodge, Bock, S. Selwood
C: Douglas, Ward,  Beams
HF: Gray, Dawes, Sherman
FF: Garlett, Grant, Porplyzia
Foll: Sandilands, Jack, C. Morton

Bench: Naitanui, ..., ...
Sub: ...

RiOtChEsS

was wondering just before if he was still on the board ;D nice pick CF

CrowsFan

Haha yeah thought I would check if he was still available and he was so snapped him up :)
Was tossing up between him and an older guy, but thought I would go Morton instead. Now to pick a back pocket and then on to the bench...
Also are we doing 4 on the bench or 3 on the bench and a sub?

RiOtChEsS

3 and a sub id say...

doesnt really bother me one way or another, good to see were nearly complete :D

Hulmie

Are we just doing a list of 22 players or are we going to make a squad of like 30.

And as usual when you say shortly you mean over an hour later... ;)
