AFL Dynasty Draft

Thought about both those guys with my last pick... Nice picks guys :)

dont see how this was much different to the other AFL draft that i was in :P

but interesting to see  how people view the youngsters..

My picks are David Zaharakis and Sam Gilbert.

Zaha is only 20yrs old is proving he is a gun of the future. Ill play him on the flank as he isnt a bad lead up target and can also push into the middle. Plus he knows how to kick a goal, which is important for a forward flank IMO.

Gilbert is surprisingly only 24yrs old! Is struggling this year but I think if St Kilda were playing better then he would be in all australian contention. Is a proven performer over the last few years and has shown that he is a great rebounding defender and also a good mark in the defensive 50. Always hits his targets and he also has the ability to play up forward with his height.

what i do understand is u will be contending for 2-3 years and then crash effectively taking 5 years to rebuild thru the draft bcos u dont really have any 25 yo to hold it together... so effectively u would be only contending for 5 of the 10 year window
