You took 2 of my picks I had lined up since I last picked :P. Suprised it took so long for Ling to go and was hoping Jones would go unnoticed for a little while longer :'(. Been missed by many due to Trengove and Scully there.

I like Lonergan as a Defender as he's not a bad one. He's not a Spud anymore either :P.

yeah i noticed ling there the other day and i was surprised that he was there. Lonergan has done some great jobs in defence this year on some of the best forwards in the comp.

RiOtChEsS

Lonergan is definitely owning this year...

Justin Bieber

I was actually tossing up Lonergan with other defenders a while back. He always seems to get the job if Taylor seems to fail, and he actually holds down his man :o.

I was planning to go 1 forward + 2 midfielders but you've taken my 2 midfielders. Now likely 1 Forward + 1 Defender + 1 Midfielder. Now choosing the midfielder is a bugger as I can go for experience or go for Youth (something I already have there). Won't make much of a difference but is fun to think about with a draft like this!

Hulmie

B.Cunnington, D.Armitage, R.Shaw

8)

Justin Bieber

The two players I was certain on choosing were to fill in for some extra youth in defence and up forward.
I was planning on having my defence finished but considering both of the two players I was going to choose were chosen, couldn't resist not getting Taylor Hunt. Turning 21 later this season and has found his place in the Undefeated Cats 22. He is a tough player and has shown poise with the ball and not afraid to take on the opposition. This would make my defence have probably the most depth in this draft and no need to be replenished with drafting 8).

Next pick is a forward who is certainly on the Rise. Ricky Henderson. In his early 20's and has shown glimpses of the dangerous forward he could potentially be. At 190cm could be a very handy Forward Pocket/Flanker with his ability to run.

This last pick was really a toss up between several midfielders. In the end went with the Young Superstar-in-the-making in Jack Steven. He is a very young and aggressive midfielder who can go forward and chip in with a few goals. He has heart and looks to be another one of Saints main men in the midfield in the years going forward with his ability to do alot on the field no matter where he is put.

Team will be up shortly.

I'm going to take...

Jake Carlisle

Probably biased but the kid will be a very good player. Took 13 marks in his 2nd or third senior game last year. Had some injuries at the start of this year but has been great down back for Bendigo. Usually plays as a fwd, think they're just playing him there for his development. Is a great contested mark.

Jordan Gysberts
Great young midfielder who burst onto the scene last season before injuries & other players kepthim out. Is back in the team this year & looks even better with more games under his belt.

Shaun Burgoyne
Great midfielder first for Port & now the Hawks... Still has a couple of years left you would think.

B: Hardingham, Frawley, Gwilt
HB: Goddard, Mcpharlin, Malceski
C: Kennedy, Mundy, Hannebery
HF: Duncan, Cloke, Sidebottom
F: Lecras, Crameri, Blair
Foll: Clark, Priddis, Martin
Int: Bellchambers, Jones, Grundy Sub: Gysberts

Depth:
Lynch (GC)
Bastinac
Goldsack
Silvagni
Morabito
Jake Carlisle
Burgoyne
Corey

Nice ones Boomzie.

Carlisle is a KPP who can play either end of the ground. Burgoyne was the last forward on my list :P. He's quite versatile so a steal so late 8).

Yep I was tossing up between Burgoyne and a versatile youngster  :-X Needed a bit of experience so went with him  8)

Maca24

Great picks both of you. Burgoyne escaped my eye, is better than Cassisi  :P
