My anecdote.

After round 2 and round 3, I had the choice of side trading Boak with S. Thompson, before his massive price hike.

I chose to stay with boak another 2 rounds, Adelaide and GCFC, in which he failed pretty badly. I am pretty sure Boak is not over his groin / knee problems now, spent most time playing forward pocket against GCFC.

S. Thompson tonned it up against carlton, and now has an extremely favourable draw against bottom 8 teams, in which I cannot get him in a single trade now.

So yeah... sometimes not doing these trades can backfire. Now I am stuck with boak probably till at least his first bye or ben jacobs comes along, so I am hoping he can turn things around.

imo, too much uncertainty over yarran even if he is named, I would take the cash, upgrade, and run.

at best you might squeeze another 70k out of yarran, unless you considered him a keeper (which I never did)

yeh. Yarran was set for 450K which hurts :( could of straight swapped for chappy! wat culd of been...

Flower it. Had Richo (11) emergency over Matera (127). Ouch.
Yarran (44), Otten (64), Knights (67). All a pity. Plus Richo.

Yarran to JRoo for me. But im not being an idiot and jumping on petrie, or doing double trades like other impatient people who cant wait for the cash cows to max out.

Very weak line up but will just have to take it as Im going for league.
I have another team (dont know if thats illegal?) thats purely for overall and is not in any leagues.
That team is coming 1887th.

Anyway my trade for this week is Yarran to JRoo, after Yarran couldnt play with his hammy.

I only have 2 :P the overall one is just to deal with my trading urge really but its doing pretty well.
Anyway thanks for the clarification Marcz, but I doubt ill win overall anyway.

Knights was fantastic last night and should make some nice cash :)
Duigan will be traded this week but should I get Thompson? Im thinking no. I dont care how good he scores lol.
JRoo proved he was a good trade in with 110.

Not sure who ill upgrade this week, but mids are a big possibility. maybe even another forward upgrade.
Kraks score will decide whether I upgrade him or not.

lol did the job though. I only want him to go up in price a bit.
Im thinking this week of going Duigan and Swallow/Harris to Hibberd and Montagna.
Mite be a bit premature but all my cows are ripening at the same time so need to spread them out a bit.

montagna is expected to drop further, very tough draw. Could go as low as 470k

i am bit hesitant this year, i think there are better options atm.
