Scott nominated Brent Macaffer, who was on the rookie list for the past two years but was promoted to the senior list at the end of last year, as a player to have impressed with his summer campaign.

"He has been in the system now for two years as a rookie so he understands what is required, and he is now starting to deliver that and he is looking more and more like an AFL player rather than a VFL player, so we are hoping for big things from him this year. He can play as a genuine full-forward, but also has got the endurance to go up the ground as well."

Monty, this has him as being able to be a genuine full-forward, and on the depth chart (http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/depthchart.php?team=CO) he is listed as a small forward? have you heard anything about him going well or could it be the normal coach hot air.

Caff was awesome in the VFL in 08 and I am nearly 100% sure he will play against West Coast in the NAB Cup. As for the normal season, it will probably be a choice of him or Rusling in our forward line.

And knowing Rusling he will be injured pretty quickly :)

Yeah, probably. Medders might be doubtful for round 1 aswell so expect Caff to play round 1 if Medders is out.

Would love to see the Pies blood some more kids, but the FWD line has heaps of depth and might be hard for Macaffer to break into.

Macaffer may step up for Rusling if (when) injured or J. Anthony is overlooked.

Dawes would be in waiting for Rocca again.

Too many other Fantasy FWD options to choose from IMO.
