Any chance of him playing this week?

sticko

am i missing something - why have I not seen Chapman in any draft teams I've looked at? Because he is injury prone/maybe too expensive?

DWEBBY5

too expensive and his injury thelast couple of year have cost me  :'(

sticko

i seeee

so if i felt like taking a BIG risk......i could think about getting him

but then i probably wouldnt

he would be very unique though

I think people are fed up with him letting them down by getting injured all the time. Yes he's a gun and scores alot of points, but you can't score many points from the sidelines.
I'll be looking at him as an upgrade target later in the year if he's fit and firing but it's usually the time of year when he's resting up and looking after his hammy's so he's good to go in September.

My absolute fav player in the league.  Had him last year and tho he twang'd that hamstring early in games a few times during the year. He soldiered on and turned 2 of those games into his 2 best performances of the entire season. Adeliade at skilled stadium round18 - twinged the hammy in the 1st quater.. went on to single handedly win the game with 6goals. Then St.Kilda in the GF Everyone thought geelongs day was over when he went off early.. only to come back and win the Norm smith! Genius. (tho i still think harry taylor deserved it more)

That said.. He turns 29 this year and his injurys arn't likely to become less frequent .. would be a brave man to pick him up at the start (especially at the uber premium pricetag) or anytime during the season.

*hugs chappy* but sadly no.. :(

how come no one has paul chapman in there teams? is there something i have missed he was a hell gun last year???

superroach

It's all about his injuries mate.... Chapman is one of the best supercoach players in the league just teams are wary to go into the season with a a player that might have little injuries floating around. Also at his price your better off to pick someone like Riewoldt as you know he is fit and firing to go. Look to see how chapman goes and pick him up around round 10 or so if his scores are good. He should be about 550K to 540K at that time.

Cheers Mate

cheers mate i have reiwoldt already i was just thinking that its wierd that noone has him yet cheers for the heads up tho

Diimii

I have him, and my oppinion will be in the top 3 scoring fantasy players this year.

maddhawker

y didnt he play nab cup tho?? i wanna get him but a bit worried haha

Diimii

he played against richmond last week and was best on ground for geelong, so hes fit and ready to go.

In my oppinion hes a much better supercoacher than dream teamer so in my supercoach team hes a lock but not to sure about dreamteam.

maddhawker

he averaged 112 in dreamteam last year tho?? i am gunna lock him into my team anyway thanks for that

Anybody considering him? He is expensive and is known to miss a game or two but absolutely tore it up last year and looks set to do it again this year. Played out the Grand Final and the Adelaide game with a hamstring injury and was very productive DT wise. Scored 97 in about 3 quarters (possibly less as he was on and off the ground and barely played the last) against the Tiges in their intraclub.

The Man

Obviously no one is considering.
