Judd, scores more dynamically. Murph is a more 95-120

schezza

but for the diff in price u still think Judd??

30k difference.. I still stick with Judd. Had Murph last year and while he was consistent, I always missed the bigger Judd scores. But if you need the 30k elsewhere and can make up about average 10 points more with your upgrade elsewhere then probably go Murph.

schezza

mmmmm had that in my head. im just really rushed this yr with SC and Dt. so my sides only doen quickly and that was my last pick.

choice was Judd in the end.

wat do u think of my side now........

Backs - goddard, gibbs, deleido, mackie, otten, heppell, toy              BENCH - Duigan, lower, delaney.L
mids  - swan, judd, selwood, cross, foley, swallow                            BENCH - harris, pittard, hibberd
rucks - cox, trengrove                                                                  BENCH - petrie, smith
forwards - franklin, pav, goodes, higgns, yarran, knight, kreakouer      BENCH - matera, richardson, mckernan

cash - $78,000

What u think????

Scratchy

I like it Schezza, lots of uinique stuff whilst still having the big 3 defenders and mids, and 2 of the big 3 forwards.
There are players in there who I haven't considered which is remarkable for this time of year, case in point Delaney.
I'm not a huge fan of the amount of money you've put into the 4 ruck positions but I suppose an average of 112 in pre-season for Trengove is certainly worth considering.

Swallow12

Downgrade Cross to a rookie and upgrade a back rookie, haha starting tregrove? Your funeral, and Fwd line is reasonable 7/10

schezza

mmmmmm

well i did abit of reading on delaney, but might change it before rd1.

Im mates with Trengrove and he said that they want him to play down back this yr and no ruck..... so i though might be able to get a few more cheap points there .......

Pretty good side for a quick pick.. Wouldn't pick Mackie. Not sure he is in Geelong's best 22 but that was going on last year's Prelim. You could upgrade Mackie to a Hurn or Grundy who use the ball better. Mackie more DT I reckon. Rest of it is pretty good. FWDs look a tad risky but good on paper. Heard Jackson Trengove could be playing around HB so could boost his scores also leadership group as well plus you have Petrie to go ruck rest of the year anyways.. I like it.

Well that info from Trengove is gold. 112 average in the NAB cup I'm mighty impressed and he'll get heaps of marks from opposition kicks and some contested marks in the backline which is great for SC. I'm talking myself into him.
I think he's going to surprise a lot of people this year, not least of all Swallow12.
I agree though about Mackie. Not a great SC player at all so try to find someone else with that 78k to spare.
Grundy is a good suggestion (ave 106 in NAB)

Hoping Grundy can do that with a few Swans backs lying low.

I though it was good also... might take u up on the mackie decision. ill have to flip a coin for those 2 hahah.

Trengrove will surprise this yr im confident in him and also if that fails like u said i have Petri to pick up the slack hahah

im still not 100% about Yarran, thoughts on him.....

thanks.

Like i said ill be flipping a coin for both of them......haha

Trengrove i think is a good pick as a third ruck man seeing hes been told he will be down back this yr.....

What are thought on Yarran guys????

Yeah Yarran looks good. Not sure how much he can avg. I can see some real good scores aka round 1 vs Richmond where the Blue boys always score high remember mitch robinson not long ago??? but also some inconsistent scores due to his lack of experience in his new role. I had him in till a couple of days ago. I've already got 2 Blues which is enough for me.

Well yer i was abit the same until i did some research and the reason why i put him in was 1. he will now play down back. 2. his run and carry and breaking lines.. 3. loves a goal or two (so he might push forward against shower sides) ;-)
