A midfield fielding 3 rookies with cash written all over them: Swallow, Gaff and Conca + a reliable Broughton

VS

A midfield with Bartel Swallow and Conca + Coad in defence?

My 3 other mids are Swan, Boyd and Monty so a fairly strong 3 already.

i believe the second option is more reliable, just wanted to know others' thoughts?

I'd go the more reliable option too. But in saying that, there could be the chance that fielding the rookies will pay off big time! I probably wouldn't field all the players you have listed, i would prob include harris in there also. But if your comfortable loading up with rookies go for it.

yeahh i was thinking let gaff accumulate money on the bench and harris scoring on the field.

sounds like a good idea that could pay off big time for you! I have thought of doing something similar but don't have the balls lol. I like taking the safer option! But this could really pay off for you!

Are you talking to me scratchy? I prob am a bit over powered in my mids, i've tried to keep and even balance all over the field. Still making some last min changes tho lol

I would not be picking Gaff though, TMurph.

Your team looks good matt1985 although we are going down very different paths in the rucks. My plan for round 5 and 6 at the moment is essentially 'wing it'

i think the 3 rookies mids could pay off this year (ive done it too) :)
id go with the second option except get polec instead of gaff because will more likely get more frequent time on the field and better scores

Yeah I had just been reading a Swallow vs Bartel thread and got confused. I think three rookies on field is fine. I've gone 2 mid-pricers in midfield instead however.
And I agree with Polec over Gaff as suggested by Jimbo_11
