About The elxam League

Ok. Hello everybody! So what is this about?

The leagues for SC are made up from fanfooty users who have made "Coach" status or higher. After the 2010 season finished chrisuzz started up a thread seeking to create a coaches only league.

Unfortunately one of our coaches, elxam, tragically passed way on Fatherâ€™s Day 2010. In memory of this quality poster and terrific person, it was decided to name this Coaches league after him.

As the off-season grew, so did the number of people wanting to participate in this league. It was decided to split the competition into two leagues â€" Victorians and All-Stars â€" and have a 32 Team Competition. Each round you would play 1 person for your league, and 1 person from the other league. The finals will consist of the best 16 teams, playing off in elimination, for ultimate glory. While at the same time, the Vics and All-Stars would fight to competet against each other for state-of-origin pride.

Who are these intrepid coaches?

All-Stars: Barlow21, benjy251090, bomberboy0618/Luigi192, Boomz, BoredSaint, CrowsFan, dylsta05, hawk_88, Marcz, McRooster, MTTY, naste, ossie85, pyronerd, RobsOverAchieverrs and roo boys!

Victorians: Alex7089, BratPack, CFC 1979, Cruiseon, DazBurg, Fletch74, hawka26, Hellopplz, HillHero13, Junktimer, korza, Maca24, MajorLazer, Prospector_1, reesbr and thornz23.

This thread is designed for people interested in seeing how fanfooty's so called "experts" are travelling as well as to generate some friendly banter. There's also a DT version of this.

Just like to point out that I am in fact Victorian, but due to lop-sided numbers became an All-Star.

Either way, I play to win and will channel my South Australian and Tasmanian heritage to bring the All-Stars to victory!!
