Spite

I don't understand how this team will be an early bolter? You have to start 3 rooks in the backline and 3 in the forwards, along with a mid priced ruck. This compares to most people, 2 in the back, 2 in the forward,2 in the mid and a mid prices ruck. Pretty much the same rookies, so it won't bolt, but you have a different strategy. Try it, it could be great, but it could fail. Like any risk.

hey hugebbq side one looks pretty good, a bit unique in that you have 2 midpriced mids and mcevoy, and looks like only 4 rooks starting. if your midpricers go well could be a very good side

Thanks yorgis. This is only an experiment on the side but from viewing alot of ppls teams, they are all essentially the same bar a few differences. This in itself is ok as we all know success will be achieved when utilising the 24 trades.

When looking at the likes of swan, boyd, goddard, sandilands, chapman etc they are starting with massive breakevens and hold them for a while. They will come down in price and then i will jump onboard. Don't get me wrong, I WILL have these players at sometime thoughout the year.

This team has the runs on the park and the total opposite to what spite just typed. Apparently i have 3 rooks starting back and 3 forwards. um look again!
backline. 1 rookie starting back as i dont class otten as a rookie and i saw a couple of lowers games and he looks good plus the fact that so many other teams if not all will have otten and lower. spite even said most will have only 2 rooks starting back. thats me one up.

mids. yes i know theres no swan or boyd etc but look at the players chosen. Pendles will smash it this year and JPK will surprise alot of people plus there is potentially 5 keepers however i look to upgrade jpk and foley and will have a complete midfield with less trades early than spite carrying 2 rookies only the field. bench has plenty of earning potential. again my mid has no rookies starting. me one more up.

rucks. sandie will drop and i will jump on boards but the extra 170k over mcevoy who will earn $ and av well is not worth it.

forwards. straight up 5 possibly 6 keepers. plenty of bench points and $ improvement. not starting 3 rookies like spite said. Now i know theres no chappy, franklin or didak but again most of these will drop in price. my forwards are with the exception of nick are all consistent performers . 1 rookie not 3 starting. me up again.

by the way sounds like my real team is like spites and everyone elses as this is just an experiment that sounds possible.

crap i'm confused.
