Andy Carroll, is a classic centre forward or number 9, and uses his strength, powerful shot and excellent heading ability, Kevin Keegan (an ex Newcastle manager) stated "he is probably in the top three headers of a ball I have ever seen in football". He was brought to Liverpool, at an excess fee of 35mil making him the most expensive british footballer of all time, and is going to be a huge star of the future.

Pick 1: Jack Rodwell

bit of a smokey pick from me :) Rodwell is a Defensive Midfielder who plays for Everton (the best club in the world :P) represented England at both U18 and U21 level. Still only 20 he will grow into a good Defensive Mid for both England and Everton. Will feature on the bench unless Essien gets an injury. Is also capable of playing CB.

Pick 2: Darren Fletcher

Manchester United's CM/DM :) Fletcher is the captain of the scottish national team. Plagued by injury throughout his career, Fletcher is a perfect player for the bench position who can come on and make an instant impact in the busiest part of the pitch :)
