My picks will help fill a striker and midfielder spot on my bench. One is a great attacking player from the back half while still being quite versatile and the other is a goal scoring machine who is being chased by many big names, with quite the price tag over his head.


My first pick is Edinson Cavani from Napoli. From 28 league games this season, he's managed an outstanding 25 goals combined with 4 assists. Many say he's a big reason why Napoli is sitting second on the Serie A table. He's been linked to Real Madrid and Man City but has chosen to stay with Napoli as his price tag has been set quite high (one site reported 85.5 Million Euros :o).


My next pick is a DM backup who can also fill in down in defence. Arturo Vidal has been a vital part of Bayern Leverkusen's push for the Bundesliga title currently sitting second. He's amassed 9 goals and 8 assists from his DM position. He's a very solid defender and his ability to push forward makes him even more of a threat to have on my bench. His versatility is what draws me to him as he can play almost anywhere in the back half.

Ok for my pick I am going to pick a young Frenchman playing for Toulouse who has been compared to Patrick Vieira in the way he plays the game. I pick Moussa Sissoko. Only 21 years of age but has already appeared for Toulouse 144 times, scoring 20 goals in the process, not bad for a holding midfielder. He has represented France at every age level from the U16's all the way up to the senior team. He is capable of playing as the holding midfielder so can replace Diarra in the starting lineup or as a box to box midfielder so can also play Schweini's role. This kid will be a star in the not to distant future :)
