TOTAL SCORE:    2,260

2219th for the round is not too bad. Can't see it happening in round 6 though, got too many guns out.

charliesheen

cross showed no sign of flue to me!  massive smoke screeen! lol

suckling looking to be very very good pick?  Where are you ranked now meow?

meow meow

Still on the wrong side of 10,000. Just. Nothing happening there.

Cross had "flu like symptoms" 6 days away from the day of the game. I didn't doubt he would be up for the game. He is an absolute warrior and a little sniffle wouldn't keep him out. I toyed with bringing Martin in, but couldn't go past Crossy. He only has one bye to go, and it's a long season. Cross won't drop off.

Suckling is a keeper. Loved the look of him from the first moment i saw him this year. I was going to trade him out for Lake after a few weeks of price rises, but Suckling looks to be a better pick than Lake, and almost every other defender. He is staying put.

Will have to see what's happening with Delicious. Hopefully it's only a couple of weeks out. If not, I have my eye on a suitable replacement, and it's not Riewoldt. I am tearing through the trades though. Oh well.

Ringo

you want be Robinson Crusoe with do nut in forward line :-X

charliesheen

keep rioli, if you have used more than 1-2 trades already

meow meow

Yeah Rioli isn't going anywhere. He will repay the faith.

Marstar

You're up to 2 stars ... keep up the good work Meow Meow.

p.s. what happened to big ange? :P

meow meow

Big Ange realised that he was full of crap and decided to make a swift exit and save himself some more embarrassment.

Round 6 was quite disgusting.

1. Gibbs, Bryce    69
2. Shaw, Heath    116
3. Goddard, Brendon    96
4. Duigan, Nicholas    42
5. Smith, Brodie          69
6. Stanley, Danny    76
7. Batchelor, Jake    23
8. Swan, Dane    104
9. Murphy, Marc    110
10. Judd, Chris    154
11. Cross, Daniel  109
12. Harris, Daniel    75
13. Ablett, Gary    95
14. Cox, Dean    262
15. Smith, Zachary    43
16. Higgins, Shaun (C)    0
17. Riewoldt, Jack    109
18. Riewoldt, Nick    47
19. Tapscott, Luke    53
20. Brennan, Jared    100
21. Matera, Brandon    38
22. Petrie, Drew    68

Limped to 1858. Cyril, Selwood, Franklin, Sucking, Lower, Sandilands, Higgins should help next week though. I didn't expect a mammoth score this week so I can't complain too much.

charliesheen

damn.

J. Brennan, Gary Abblet, Smith, Harris, Swallow, etc

Heck, your next trade should be Riska, haha, may as well!

did you really have captain on Higgins?

meow meow

Yeah bro, just cos I had Cox as VC. I knew Swan wouldn't do much against the Dogs. He looked so tired against Essendon. I was going to cop a 0 in the forward line so i just left Higgins in.

I don't have Swallow, But do have Stanley and Toy. Brennan averages 100 if you take out his round 1 game. MPP is important for me since i have 2 Blues in the middle. I can't see many other decent forwards this year. Brennan is a tackling machine and wins plenty of hardball. And he was cheap. I usually pick my favourites, and he is one of them. Entertaining bloke.

Gazza was a risk i was willing to take. Brown smashed his face, so i had all this cash there after round 1, and everyone else had 2 byes remaining so I thought i may as well jump on baldie before everyone else. Was hoping that would give me an edge. Didn't quite work out.

charliesheen

how many trades have you used so far?

meow meow

Haha umm i would rather not talk about trades. I feel so guilty. However

mids : Ablett, Judd, Swan, Selwood, Muphy, Cross
forwards: Franklin, NRoo, JRoo, Higgins*, Brennan, Chapman*, Petrie
rucks: Sandilands, Cox
backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Shaw, Suckling, .....

doesn't look too bad. I'll be bringing Chappy in this week. Higgins will only be in until Brown returns. I WANT him, because not many players are capable of scoring 150+ regularly. I'll be able to do a straight swap. If not, Higgins will do. I've only got 3 more players to bring in, then my team will be how i want it. I will see how Drummond goes, because he is cheap still. Lake will be bargain basement so he is an option. Deledio is next though. Harris + Duigan should be able to get it done in a few weeks.

Let's just say that i am more open to early trades than most others seem to be.

charliesheen

IMO, Brown would have been a very very good pick at the start of the year if he didnt have his face smashed

BL would have certainly won some games by now as well.

meow meow

I agree. They have improved, and Drummond is yet to return. When Brown comes back, he will have plenty of supply so he shouldn't have difficulty scoring. I won't wait until he plays himself into fitness and form. He'll just play closer to goal and win contested marks and get his score that way.

Will you be waiting till he bottoms out in price before bringing him in given that his 65 in first round will help bring price down for a few weeks.
