Drummond!!!!!!!

I finished 4th, which is really 1st in my mind. I played the bottom 3 teams leading into the finals, and beat them all by less than 20 points in every game, whilst being 2 players short. Full team this week should see me well on the way to the trophy. And the car.

charliesheen

what color car have your chosen?

meow meow

Cars should only ever be black for a badass like myself.

2444 was enough to see me slide through to the prelim.

First game back after 6 or so weeks, and he comes in and scores a lazy 97 from only 15 disposals. Just warming up. Imagine what he'll be producing when he's up to 25 touches.

Good Work MM.

I finsished 2nd and 5th in my two leagues. Won both matches so have the bye in the most important one, and in the 2nd need to play with Enright, Chap and Johnson on the bench against some1 who has only 1 Cat :S

However i believe he has run out of trades with H.Shaw, Newman, L.Thomson and Toy in D. So im hoping that's a donut with no call-ups. Would be unfortunate to lose since he has Gibbs, Scotland and Duigan meaning meaning 4 donuts in defence the week after + Judd.

Marstar

No lower, so 2 donuts, and a certain victory even though this will be my poorest week for the whole season with the likes of Broughton, Puopolo, Otten, Pavlich and Petrie averaging less that 50 between them.

I feel confident next week as my bench consists of Enright, Adcock, Bolton, Johnson, Chapman and N.Roo, so injuries and rested players for next week can be covered in all lines.

I have to say Mzungu and I.Smith with there performances and MPP have really been outstanding M6/F7's for me. To pick them over players like Bolton, Embley and N.Roo in the latter part of the season when rookies should be fatiguing and Premiums really proving their quality is really saying something.

I'll be playing both Mzungu and I.Smith to cover Judd and Murphy, and I'm not too bothered by that.

If someone whispers to Drummond that he should play on to himself before he kicks in, then he'd score massive numbers. He can kick it 60m anyway so he doesn't need to do the chump method. I'll let him know in a day or two.

Or he can be told preseason so we can buy him cheaper next year :P

Looks like my 2 trades for the week are going to be Pav and Broughton out + 45k -> But no idea which combination of guns i can afford. And the sh!t thing is neither of my opponents have them.

I want Rioli/Cloke/Fyfe. And Gibson/Suckling/Birchall/Bock. But i cant afford any combination. Harvey tickles my fancy and is a bit cheaper.

What i really need though is all three of Cox , Pendles and Mitchell to be rested, cause my opponents in either league don't have the depth on their Bench or Trades/Cash to spare.

Marstar

Broughton in !!! Makes that decision easier :P

trade him if you can IMO.

his finished.

Get Fyfe and... Drummond. Go on, you know you want to.

Marstar

If Drummond had played a couple more game to see his scoring potential possible vs Eagles and Swans for the next 2 weeks i would consider it highly.

I can afford Jared Rivers (for Andy Otten) vs GC and PA. His scores against these 2 opponents this season have been very good. As have his scores against all the weaker teams (Rich twice and Bris) with 100+ vs Eagles and Hawks in the previous month. This would allow me to bench Broughton for a cover next week if he pulls through ok (can replace Heppel and save me the trade).

So im considering Fyfe/Rioli and Rivers for Pav and Otten?

My other options are Hale and Birchall for Pav and Broughton.

For a better view of my situation and PODs:

Defence - Enright, Heppel, Broughton (Puo, Otten, Talia)
Mids -      Gaj, Boyd (Bolton, I.Smith)
Ruck-       Mummy
Fwds-      Pav, Johnson, Chaps, RO'K, Petrie (Mzungu, N.Roo)

vs

Def -         Birch, Hurn, Murphy (Lower)
Mids -       Bart, Mzungu (none)
Ruck -       Ryder
Fwds -      Fyfe, Rioli, Cloake, J.Roo, Krak (Presdia, McKernan,Talia).

I could go Hurn + Fyfe/Rioli/Cloak and even bench RO'K for Mzungu and negate a further 3 POD's. However on a 3 week average i am 74 points ahead and on a season average im 121 points ahead.

Also Captain choice can make all the difference this week. He doesn't have Gaj to put Captain, so the logical choice is Swan. I'm thinking of pitting Gaj Capt, or i can match him with Swan.

Decisions Decisions !!!!!!!!!

charliesheen

Hale & Birchall = will yield you consistent scores

Hurn & Rioli = should go bang and bang, but not sure Hurn is really much of an upgrade.

I guess you could argue with I.Smith and Mzungu averaging at least the same as David Hale, why not just get rid of Broughton, and forget about Pavlich altogether on the bench.

Marstar

Bought Birchall only. Mitchell out means I.Smith in for me and no1 in for my opponents. Winning !!

FU©K.

My man Drummond did his best with 104 but it still was not enough. Onto 2012 for meow meow.

Goodnight.
