Playing it safe in the foward line would have been the way to go this year. Pavlich, Harvey, Goodes, ROK etc. Next year they'll all be a year older so the decline may come. Riewoldt might try next year. Franklin is clearly the best, but he'll always get injured or suspended. Looks like you'll give in and get Higgins.

GWS have a couple of gun forwards, and they are pretty easy to remember. Cameron, Bruce. Pity the ball won't go up their end of he ground. I might even take a punt on Israel.

Goddard is a lock as D1 next year. Deledio might not have MPP, but he'll still be worth it. Lake will be a bargain. I like him so much, that I bought him 2 weeks ago haha. VFL this week for Brian, then he'll be back and get it done for me. Yeah, wishful thinking.

In the unlikely event that he stays at Melb, then Scully will be the man next year. He looks like a 110 averaging player ready to explode.

Higgins all over again lol!  He'll be priced at 300k, and kill the pre-season again
.
Went Selwood > Scully in DT :)  took massive punt

Marstar

I always get Mitchell , Newman, Cox ... and they were bargains this year. Next year they wont be :(

2266 this week which was okay I guess. Drummond's 45 was most helpful indeed.

I am so infuriated with Riewoldt and have already traded him out. I simply don't like the bloke, and when he dishes up scores like this week, then it's time to go. I saw Selwood just sitting there, and figured he has 3 more weeks, and an untimely bye to go. I reluctantly gave him the chop, and bought Swan back in. With the change I culled Riewoldt and brought in my favourite young player in Fyfe. I almost had him at the start of the year, and it's been bothering me ever since round 1. Same with Bob.

I may have been a little hasty earlier in the year, as I currently find myself with 0 trades remaining haha. But I guess you can now rate my supercoach as the topic suggests. The backline looks dubious at best, but I am confident that this team has decent cover and a bit of potential for the second half of the year. If I get backline injuries I am completely screwed.

Deledio (M), Goddard (M), Gibbs (M), Shaw, Suckling, Lake, Drummond - Stanley, Hibberd (M), Howard

Murphy, Judd, Ablett, Swan, Hodge, Cross - Mzungu (F), Winmar (F), Andreoli (D)

Cox, Sandilands - Z.Smith, J. Tippett (F)

Fyfe (M), Franklin, Brennan (M), Petrie (R), Chapman (M), J.Roo, Higgins (M) - Big John Brown, Lynch. I. Smith (M)

I did absolutely shower this week >< Even lost both my leagues.

2001 and my Premiums let me down HARD. Should have gone with my gut and put Mitchell Cap aswell instead of Buddy.

I get my Pies players back and Andy Otten has proved he's no longer a bench warmer (hurt me this week when my gut said he wil do better than Heppel) ... so i should be better off this week. Hope Adcock comes back and in form asap.

Will buy Swan also this week so my team will be complete.

2266 is definitely above par, would be very happy with that score...

Marstar

yeah 2266 is a very decent score :)

2092 this week, which is pretty darn terrible. The Carlton trio didn't perform as well as they should have. 9 points from Howard wasn't even worth having. Sandilands hurts, but I'm sure I'm not the only one to cop his 44. 60's from Higgins and Brown (again) while I.Smith is sitting on the bench is quite annoying. J.Roo has lost the plot. It just goes to show that my team sucks when I don't have Drummond in. Hopefully he is back this week, along with Lake and Goddard to add some power to the backline, and Lance in the forward line. Swan did just as I suspected him to so he's the likely choice for the C from now until eternity. Good old Swanny has scored a ton every week I've had him, and didn't breach the hundred when I didn't have him. Swan needs meow, and meow needs Swan.

charliesheen

i think jroo is playing injured, hip or something I have heard.

no trades left?

meow meow

0  :D

I. Smith might make his way into the team the way he is scoring. Better than Riewoldt and Brown. I know they'll pull out a 130 if I decide to bench them.

If I had a trade left, I'd be getting Cloke.

charliesheen

think people will need to strongly consider cloke next year now.

was very close to pulling an nroo/jroo > cloke upgrade for about 30k extra.

ajjewell

Cloke has been doing very well hasn't he, I will admit I am very surprised, I haven't rated him as a good fantasy player in the past that might have to change if he keeps this form up though

Trades up my sleeve 11 - Cash in the Bank $287K

Im thinking:

Krak -> Swan
McCauley -> Hale

Goddard, Shaw, Newman, Adcock, Boughton, Enright, Otten - Heppel, Puopolo,  Jacobs.

Pendles, Boyd, Mitchell, Bolton, Embley, Swan - Didak , Hibberd , Mzungu.

Petrie, Hale - Cox, Sandi.

Franklin, Pavlich, Goodes, N.Roo, Johnson, Chapman, Smith - Darling , Lynch , J.Tippett.

I'm pretty much guaranteed top 4 in my league. So i think i can afford to hold ontop Sandi for another 4 weeks injured, have him play a couple weeks back, and then get full use of him for the full 4 Weeks of SC finals.

This way i have cover for Cox this week, and Petrie 1st week of finals.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

I wouldn't get Hale. He's not much good as a footballer IMO. His scores some weeks will reflect this. You wouldn't want to be relying on him in a final.

I'd get rid of Sandilands.

A swap to Griffin wouldn't be a bad idea. Griffin is good for 100 every week, and will be able to be swapped back to Sandi if you don't mind using 2 trades.

Mummford will pull his head in eventually so he has to be considered. Capable of huge scores, handy bye.

Jolly is good to go, and should ton up from his first game back. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play as a forward for a few weeks whilst Wood stays in the ruck. Cloke, Dawes and Jolly in the forward line would be unstoppable.

Kruezer has an untimely bye, but the Blues should have a pretty nice run home. He's a machine and won't be coming up against the WC duo every week, so this weeks score is excusable. He's the pick of the bunch but they are all pretty good options.
