Alternative theory, if your tossing up between say Conca and Heppel, name Conca Emerg, if he plays well put harris on the field, if not start Heppel.. Though you would need to make sure the other players were playing

Same with Duigan. Make sure that you have all your backs playing, and then you can put Stanley/Toy/Coad on the field.

what type of scores would you guys consider acceptable for the rookies, during the split round, if using these technique

For example, what score would duigan have to get, for it to be a keep?

Fletch74

For me, it's 75+ What would you consider your 7th back/forward or 6th midfielder to score?

I think it also depends on whether you have those lines stacked up or not.

charliesheen

yeh just 100k rookies.

so basically for split rounds, I can constantly change the Emergencies until the very last game, where I am forced to use whatever is left to avoid the donut.

No, only until the last lockout, which in this case is Friday night 7:40pm Melbourne time.

I'd say yes. I'm keeping Newman's 126 or whatever it was.

Not sure about Gibbs 133...Swan v Port...think I might be going for Swan

nice one gents, 107 for Judd not enough.... Think I will take Pendles against Port over Goddard and Roo

eternal_cowboy

Had Cotchin for 111.

Reckon that's right on the border line of a score I'd settle for, could definitely do better, but will be kicking myself if one of Pendlebury, Goddard et al. come up with something lower after I stick the C on them.

Wow! 133 in the bag is better than a roll of the dice IMO. 133 is better than Swan's average last year isn't it? and he hasn't scored extremely well pre-season. It is a curious one, but surely you'd take the certainty??
