A valid question i just spied on another thread... how much does your VC (tiger/blue) need to score before you would forfeit your captain tag to a non-starter. This poll is for those who intend on using the VC tag in game one of the first round only (obviously), to allow for a double-chance on their double points scorer.

120+ for me. I believe players like Goddard/Judd/Swan can beat <120, so that is my pass mark.

FactHunt

Fair call Fletch, hmmmmm... still deciding on Judd for my MID (not that having a double chance in rnd 1 will influence my decision!), but 120 is pretty solid :D

FantasyBoy

130+ for me. Collingwood home to port it's hard to say swan will get 130> 50% of the time

But judd isn't going to score more than 120 after the game :)

trade out captain, trade him back in don't pick a captain til friday if needed.

If you dont pick a Captain at all ... won't it leave the Vice as the double pointer?

It certainly would, that's the whole point about this thread. Put a VC on a Carlton/Richmond player as it is a partial lockout. If that works, don't name a captain, if it doesn't name a captain!

So only for this round you could name your VC, say Gibbs on Thursday, but still be able to lock in a C on Friday?

Yep... and of course if you leave the C tag off because Gibbs had a blinder, you get double points for his score as VC

CrowsFan

120+ for me. If my captain can score me 240 points so around a tenth of what I hope to get then I am happy :)

Can you also make unlimited changes to your team after thursday's game as long as they are not blues or tigers players?? Or is your squad finalised after the start of thursdays game?

100% right, you can make changes to all other 15 clubs unlimited.
