Which of the two would you prefer in your side? (talking the price of both players into account)

Steve Johnson

Paul Chapman

both fowards from geelong but both in different situations chappy has had a injury interupted pre season and costs and extra 100k, whereas Stevie J has had a huge pre season and is rumoured to have more midfield time. So the question is taking the price of each player into account which of the two would you prefer in your price

Chappy for me

There are always questions about his fitness but if he's named he's essential to any forward line

Definately stevie j. Chappy won't rise in price so will be perfect upgrade target later in the year. And by then you will if he is fit or not

Bit of a no brainer

Chappy, a premium who could kill it all year, but if both play to their best chappy is a 20 point a game better supercoach player. I'd nervous picking up someone who's been no quite a premium for years (in terms of sc, i think he is a gun player). Bit like everyone picking up gia last year as he was meant to be getting more midfield time.

Usman

the second half of the prelim against collingwod last year Stevie J played in the guts and did it quite well but you feel they need him forward they have 3 guys that can very easily play more midfield time in chapman, johnson and varcoe and i reckon the big mover will be varcoe.

Stevie J.
Chappy coming into the season cold will drop in price & make a good upgrade target where as Stevie J has killed it in the pre-seasona and that should continue & is at a much better price.

Stevie J is inconsistent...no guarantee he will continue to score well. Baker will have him covered in R1 for a start I think.
Chapman is just as likely to score over 100+ back to back to back...Chappy is locked in (for mine) unless not named and I can't see that he will be left off the selected teamsheet.

8-6 Suited

Chapman is injury prone enzedder and for his price, if he goes down, you are wasting a trade on a very very sideways trade. Plus losing yourself money at the same time.

Stevie J doesn't have that problem. He has had a fantastic preseason and whilst he may be somewhat inconsistent, I think you will find this season he will do a lot more.

I'm willing to take a risk on Chappy's injuries...he hasn't missed too many games in the last few years and has been in the best couple of supercoach forwards in that time.

It's usually a bad risk picking one of the most expensive players when they're coming off a cold pre-season. He'll drop in price but if u want to be stuck with him when he does :-\ Personally just don't get ur thinking...

2 80s, 4 90s and 15 100+s last year. I want him and won't waste a trade bringing him in.

No pre-season, more than likely to start pretty cold though Enzedder, especially against the Saints as well.

i think picking anyone who has not played a preseason fixture is fraught with danger
