Almost got my team settled bar a few players, so would appreciate people's opinions on which of the following three represents the best choice.

Keep in mind that the third player in each set is purely there so that I can use MPP to switch Petrie between Forward and Ruck when needed.

Dean Cox / Chris Yarran / Joel Tippet

PROS: Cox could (should?) be back to his premium status this year, Yarran has been firing pre-season.
CONS: Yarran is a bit unproven and may not consistently score high, Joel Tippet probably won't play.

Robert Warnock / Colin Sylvia / Rhys Stanley

PROS: Sylvia PROBABLY has the ability to score higher than Yarran, Stanley will play more often than Tippet.
CONS: Warnock unproven, Sylvia risky, Stanley is quite expensive (~200k) for a low scoring player who will probably sit on my bench most of the time.

Thoughts on which group of 3 I should go with?

Probably should have mentioned, if you think NEITHER of those are a good idea, feel free to suggest other options!

would def go the cox one, my thinking is that you are not going to make a lot of money/points  off your 4th ruck so pick the cheaper mpp and cox will score plenty more than warnock

Agreed about the advantage of Cox over Warnock, but this could be ruined by Sylvia averaging significantly higher than Yarran.

I really, really want to get excited about Sylvia but for some reason I just can't... I don't know whether it is his attitude or the number of games he misses that turns me off more. I am excited about Yarran though.

I have gone with J. Tippet even though it really irks me to pick someone I know isn't going to play. But Petrie is just too cheap to pass up as a forward and with J. Tippet I can use Petrie as cover for Sandi and Cox when they have their byes.

Yep, that's pretty much my plan exactly, think I'm going to stick with it now.

You never know, we might get lucky and Tippet might somehow force himself into the GC team!
