Unlucky about the loss valk, but sounds like you played alright :)
If you play in the ruck how tall are you?? Has Sandilands got some competition out there in the west? ;)

I am 6ft 3in but only 80 kegs so I dont have the body weight to match it with the big fella's.  I can out jump and out run them quite easily - so it works out that I am another midfielder after the tap.

I am no threat to Sandilands, I think the threat to him comes from within the Sandilands family - namely Chad Sandilands.  He is apparently 203cm at 16yo

WTF o.O

I really hope we can invoke some kind of brother/brother rule and get him to Freo.

Haha a brother/brother rule sounds great!
Imagine if all 4 Selwood brothers ended up at the same club :o

That would be scary. Doubt it would happen but that is what we said about the Danihers.

Brother/brother....Sounds doable :D

You would still only want 1 of them :P

roo boys!

I had our first real practice match on Sunday. Was playing on the ball in the first quarter, did OK. Got about 8/9 touches in that quarter and kicked a banana goal from near the boundary roving a ruck contest. Then for the second quarter I moved to CHF /HFF for a bit of a rest, kicked 2 goals that quarter but one of them was the result of a run down tackle on the goal line which resulted in my arm falling on the hard-as-rock goalsquare and then the kid fell on top of it, then when he got up he stepped on it. So I was taken off and they told me to go to the hospital for x-rays, turns out no break (thank god!) but a lot of swelling and bruising so have to take it easy for the next few days. Should be right for round 1 next Sunday though.

Nice work RB.  The good thing about Masters footy is that you only play every second week so I have plenty of time to recover :)

I think I will need it for the first half of the season.  I have already been asked to play for another team on Saturdays but I dont think I could handle 2 games a weekend

I may do that in a few years, but for now I still love footy :)

Played 3 practice matches last month for the Leongatha Thirds. (Im only 15 haha)
We played Pakenham, Rowville and Pearcedale.
Lost all games but our team focus was on trying new things and not the scoreboard.
Round 1 starts this week against Traralgon and Im looking forward to it! :)
