I've got my eye on the Toyota Aurion this year rather than a league win.

Strategy

PREMIUMS - Have a max of 2 premiums from any single bye team, and three premiums from the teams with early triple bye rounds (R4, R5, R6).

ROOKIES - aim to include those with late first byes eg. Richmond, Port, Essendon & Carlton to maximise early price rise.

Defence
Goddard, Gibbs, Rawlings, Deledio, Grimes, Otten, Lower (Stanley, Duigan, Hibberd)

Midfield
Swan, Boyd, Pendlebury, Bartel, Conca, Bewick (Harris, Prestia, Pittard)

Ruck
Cox, Sandilands (Smith, Keefe)

Forward
Franklin, S.Johnson, Goodes, Reiwoldt, Yarran, Krakouer, Richardson (Matera, Tapscott, Darling)

exact team as mine apart from some bench players. im happy with it at this stage

I'm also happy with it but am unsure on a few players.

I'd like to include Broughton or Bruce in my defence but it would cause trouble in R6 having extra players out.

Therefore i feel if your going for the best overall ranking possible Gibbs, Deledio and Rawlings are a must due to their byes.

Good side..A few risky ones in Yarran but could pay off. If you can win the car I'm sure you'll win your league as well

Very very very good team. I am going for overall and i have got about the same plans and some of the same players but i rally like the team.

In the round 4,5,6,7 byes how many and what players will be out in those rounds.

I would be swapping yarran for maybe somone like a jarrad grant from the bulldogs if you have enough money i think your one premuim short thats all..

Players to miss in crucial Rounds.

R4 - Goddard, Boyd, Reiwoldt, Bewick

R5 - Grimes, Cox, Goodes, Tapscott, Darling

R6 - Bartel, Sandilands, Franklin, Stevie J, Lower

Bringing in Jarrad Grant for Yarran means an extra player out in Round 4.

Im also unhappy with the 4 guns out in R6 but cant pick who to drop let alone who to bring in that isnt playing in another danger round.... Possibly Cox out Ryder in?

im not sure yarran can match betts scores from last year

don't like picking injury prone players (otten and grimes)

other than that good team

yarran off of halfback though wont be relying on kicking a bag of goals.

if nab cup is any indication of his role he should get 20 odd possies a game which would see his average improve towards 75 - 80 i would hope.

yarran will not improve that much if he is off half back. the other backmen are not that horrible they cant do the job without yarran
