i have been mucking around with my team all preseason and when i made my latest change i was able to make a team with $0. I droped lids down to lower and went to upgrade ward and realised i had 442,300 exactly the price of pendles

ive got $400 and i am happy with that because ultimately your money is earning you points not interest! Therefore spend it until you have your team how you want it and then worry about the money. However ideally you would want maybe 15-20k in case of in emergency but sometimes that just can't happen! (Like in my case)

Does that phase you in say a LTI meaning say a mid priced player went down & no cash to say upgrade be a sideways or lower scale then?

The first team i did it just happened...then when Callinan and Mzungu went down and i had to rejig, i did the second team on purpose.

Yeh i got caught out last year with maguire who i had as starting 7th backman. But thats the only time, i can see the sense in having 10-20,000 spare left over when picking your initial squad.
