OK, so i'm considering copping a ruck donut in round 1..

Rucks are currently Cox, Fraser (Smith Z, Tippett J) - 3 GC ruckmen..

Cox & Fraser to start most weeks with Z smith as 3rd ruck.. I also have Tippett to activate MPP for Petrie who is in the forward line..

I like this line-up, only problem is it mean a donut rnd 1...

anyone else doing the same?

Aralt

It is a sin to have a donut for round 1.

........Where is Sandi? Like Swan and Goddard he is  must.
I say flick Petrie (down grade target), Fraser and J. Tippet > Sandi, Derickx (watch what the woods do with Keefe) and Michie

Haha, hell no. I've got Sandilands, Cox, Fraser and Petrie as my rucks. If Sandilands gets a rest, and Fraser gets injured, then i'll still be able to have 2 rucks who will produce decent scores. Having a strong ruck bench is vital if you ask me.

I know you think his idea is funny but 95% of people on here would make fun of you. What a waste of money in the rucks.

Unless you have Petrie in the forwards get rid of Tippet, and get rid of Fraser anyways find a way to get Sandi

Yes i have Petrie in my forward line (its the only reason I have Tippett)..

I've decided to go with Cox over Sandi (risk i know). I will be trying to get Sandi in my side by mid year..

If i get rid of Fraser I have $401,300 to spend on a replacement starter.. any suggestions?

The other ruck option i've been toying with is a set and forget ruck line of Cox & Sandi.. however this would mean losing Swan in favour of pendelbury..

the points you will gain from having cox and sandi is heaps more than the difference between swan and pendles

You could keep Swan, go Tippett to Hale...thats what Ive done...good flexibility with byes too considering Petrie and Richardson are both in my forwards from NM. Hale has kicked a few goals preseason and has good job security. Its not ideal but either Petrie/Hale will make $$ for an upgrade later on.

hmm, i think i'm about to do an about face and go the Sandi-Cox set and forget.. I think pendles should perform on par with Swan till mid season..

Ive stuck up for meow meow enough, he is officially the new BigV

yeah, tk - not too fussed what combo, but don't cop a doughnut for Rd1 when you don't have to ...

a 3 GC ruckline incl bench is just asking for trouble ...
