So after all that, did anyone take my advice, or are you all kicking yourselves now?

He's getting under the radar of most teams, and even when they can take him they can't use any of their first three choices as they have to worry about pav, mundy, and hill. Plus, since he's added a bit of size (not much admittedly, but a lot for him) he's now added a tackling game to his arsenal. There's a lot of upside about him.

+1. Went with the Knights and Petrie option for my team though. Time will tell I guess. Love watching the avatar though. Goes harder than his frame would warrant.

had him in my team from the start... he will avg 80-85 this year and will be consistent for a fwd which is why I went with him. great set of hands!

Ok.... I should come clean now

I have had him in my team since before Christmas. I was trying to stay low about him so that he stays unique. There is something special about this kid and so far he has played well for Freo (and my DT). The plan was for some time mid season to upgrade him to a premium but if he can average 95 - 100 (as a forward) then he may become a keeper.

A nice increase of $21k this round with an average of 92 makes Valky one happy man.

My plan was similar, planned an upgrade round midseason, which if he continues at this rate won't be needed.
We'll see... no room for sentimentality in DT!

I know - takes some sentimentality out of the games as well. Half the time i don't take notice of the score in games anymore, i'm just yelling at my players to get the freaking ball or make the tackle!
