what do you guys think of fyfe

n4cr123

i think that all u guys jump on someone who has 1 good game....

yorgis

oh how true and i guess a lot of dt'ers will be jumping on the shaw train

wcarey

steer clear of 2nd year players at that price. it usually ends in tears. maybe next year

BGK

I think the thing with Fyfe is he has had a couple of good games on the trot now. I would stay away myself but he has the talent.

Cicjose

Lots of injuries at Fremantle tho so is very likely to get games.

But his ave from last year was 68.1 from 16 if you think he can get to 80+ and play all games then go for it but awkward price at $282 900

Hawka

valky mite have him :P haha
but i woudnt go near him this yr

haha valk? you there?
I'm a little bit more optimistic. I think he'll improve his avg.

elephants

i have him at the moment but not locked by any means

j959

agree on awkward price - not this year, at least maybe not to start with.
I think you could jump on if it is looking like he can crack the 80+ consistently ...
keep an eye on him for next year and the one after that ...

I think you've done your homework. The rule about not choosing second year players can be broken in a couple of circumstances, one of which is positional change, the other greater opportunity due to injury. Fyfe ticks both of these boxes.

This year he's been training with the midfield group, and in Morabito's absence has been given a roaming role between half forward and the midfield. Plus, he;s bulked up a lot in preparation for the new role.

He'll easily up his average, I expect it to be 80+ probably around 85 by season's end. Ignore him if you like, but it's foolish to claim price and second year status as reasons to not pick him without looking at the full picture.

Mish

plenty of options at his price

He played a high HFF last year.  This year expect to see him playing more in the midfield and hearing more from my loungeroom  -- FYFEY!!!!
