48.1   W   Hofman to Ali : Full flighted delivery by Hofman and Ali's indecision sees the ball crash into the stumps.
R. Ali b. B. Hofman 13 (12b 2x4 0x6) SR:108.33

Argh, there goes my chances of 250.

CrowsFan

End of over 49 (8 runs) - The Brat Pack(229-7) RR 4.67
P. Joubert 8 (4b) , S. Gorman 16 (22b) , A. Suriyaprakash 10-0-51-1

A wicket in that over but a little too late...

Boomz

End of over 7 (2 runs) - Hammertown Warriors(27-2). 130 runs required from 43 overs. RR 3.86 RRR 3.02
P. Noble 0 (1b) , R. Martins 7 (8b) , S. McPhee 4-0-15-2

McPhee :-* Not worried about RR just need wickets thats what will win it for me...

CrowsFan

End of over 50 (5 runs) - The Brat Pack(234-8) RR 4.68
G. Roberts 3 (3b) , S. Gorman 18 (24b) , E. Ridge 10-0-44-2

Well a target of 235 seems way too high for me to get on a sticky :(

roo boys!

End of over 50 (5 runs) - Roo Boys!(244-8) RR 4.88
J. van den Hof 4 (6b) , R. Naved 34 (33b) , D. Hayden 10-0-57-3

Very happy with that total.

2.4   W   Naved to Venkatesan : [catch] van den Hof might have taken some grief for eating all the pies, but a nice soft stomach was needed to help cushion the shot giving enough time for him to claim the catch.
A. Venkatesan c J. van den Hof b. R. Naved 1 (9b 0x4 0x6) SR:11.11

Just remembered this will be Hoffy's last game at the club (providing he gets a bid) :'(

roo boys!

6.2   W   Naved to Aziz : This my friends is what we call a fruit salad. A peach of a delivery from Naved that cut back onto the stumps, the batsman appearing to play his shot like he'd stepped on a banana skin and was obviously plum(b) before Aziz walked back to the pavilion looking redder than a watermelon.
M. Aziz lbw b. R. Naved 12 (22b 1x4 0x6) SR:54.55

6.6   W   Naved to Henderson : Good length delivery, pitched close to the off stump line and the ball nipped back in late, Henderson is caught on the wrong foot and in the end it was a nothing shot. He leaves a yawing gap between bat and pad through which comes the dreadful sound of timber breaking.
D. Henderson b. R. Naved 1 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR:10.00

    End of over 7 (1 run) - RED THUNDER(17-3). 228 runs required from 43 overs. RR 2.43 RRR 5.30
A. Pryor 0 (0b) , S. Flanagan 1 (1b) , R. Naved 4-0-9-3

NAVED! :D :D :-*

roo boys!

     End of over 8 (1 run) - RED THUNDER(18-3). 227 runs required from 42 overs. RR 2.25 RRR 5.40
A. Pryor 0 (2b) , S. Flanagan 2 (5b) , A. Qasim 4-1-7-0

Good pressure!

8.2   3   Naved to Flanagan : [misfield] Harrison puts a foot out but can't manage to stop the ball. Perhaps he should try using his hands next time?
8.1   2   Naved to Flanagan : [Slower Ball] Naved tries to bowl a slower ball, but Flanagan reads it early and belts it to deep extra cover. Stevenson did well to react and keep it to 2.

Bad luck.

roo boys!

#82
10.1   W   Ali to Flanagan : Charges down the track and sends this one high up into the sky. Harrison settles under it at long on and takes a comfortable catch.
S. Flanagan c J. Harrison b. R. Ali 10 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR:90.91

ALI STRIKES FIRST BALL IN!
18.2   W   Ali to Duwa : [catch] Short and wide outside the off stump, Duwa shuffles across and flashes hard at it. The ball clips the edge and goes straight to Cullen behind the stumps.
C. Duwa c A. Cullen b. R. Ali 12 (28b 1x4 0x6) SR:42.86

AAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

21.5   W   Qasim to Pryor : Trapped on the crease to a full, inswinging delivery, Pryor looks down at his feet as if he knows his fate.
A. Pryor lbw b. A. Qasim 24 (42b 3x4 0x6) SR:57.14

Qasim!!! :D

22.3   1 W   van den Hof to Brooks : [runout] Inniss has got himself out here trying to run a totally needless second! Brooks drove to mid off and they took off for a quick single. Qasim misfielded and Inniss belatedly decided to take a second one, but was caught well short at the non-striker's end. Fatal error in judgement and Inniss is distraught. He should be.
O. Inniss run out (A. Qasim) 2 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR:18.18

Qasim's Accom fileding helps!

23.1   .   Qasim to Hayden : [dropped] That was a genuine chance at point, as Hayden attempted to smash a ball outside off but didn't connect very well. Harrison was moving the wrong way and has ended up grassing what he should have taken easily.

Ooooohhh unlucky for Qasim.

At drinks:
End of over 25 (3 runs) - RED THUNDER(72-7). 173 runs required from 25 overs. RR 2.88 RRR 6.92
J. Brooks 1 (3b) , D. Hayden 5 (14b) , J. van den Hof 3-1-6-0

Looks like R&B is still undefeated in the GC! WOO!

8-6 Suited

I posted 238, massive total. :D

roo boys!

Finally, someone else posts :P

25.2   W   Qasim to Hayden : Goes for the big lofted drive, but doesn't time it at all and rather tamely picks out Furlonge on the edge of the circle.
D. Hayden c R. Furlonge b. A. Qasim 7 (16b 0x4 0x6) SR:43.75

Qasim picks up a second!!

DazBurg

well done R&B looks like your going to be the only one to go undefeated

End of over 26 (5 runs) - John Howard's Coathangers(105-3). 77 runs required from 24 overs. RR 4.04 RRR 3.21

:(

8-6 Suited

26.5   .   Paritosh to de Haan : [dropped] Ingall has confused fielding with sports fishing, choosing to catch and release on this occasion.

Thats ironic!

End of over 27 (1 run) - Steamrollers(94-4). 145 runs required from 23 overs. RR 3.48 RRR 6.30
R. de Haan 15 (27b) , A. Dicsan 41 (67b) , D. Paritosh 9-0-26-0

roo boys!

27.1   W   Qasim to Hofman : [catch] Bouncer, and hooked straight to the man in the deep! Out!
B. Hofman c S. Chiba b. A. Qasim 2 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:28.57

roo boys!

J. Brooks 12 (21b) , J. Omesh 1 (3b) , A. Qasim 10-2-28-3
