   End of over 7 (5 runs) - Gunz n Rozez(31-0) RR 4.43
G. Ferguson 14 (18b) , L. Waterhouse 13 (25b) , A. Basharat 4-0-17-0

there u go Boomz ;)

yeah 220 would be great but what would the minimum be R&B said 130 but that seems a little low for a defendable total or u reckon that about right?

((not doubting u R&B just thinking that is a little low is all and just see other ppls thoughts ;)))

beat me to it R&B
130 would definitely be the minimum, but it could be defended. 160+ is more promising though, above 200 is good.

10.1   6   Hofman to Furlonge : That's gone like a tracer bullet over the fence at extra cover.
    End of over 10 (5 runs) - Roo Boys!(37-1) RR 3.70
K. Jaseam 19 (31b) , R. Furlonge 11 (15b) , J. Omesh 5-0-22-1

9.6   4   Omesh to Jaseam : Wow! Jaseam picked the line early and just slogged that back past Omesh

Nice :D
New bowler on first ball goes for six ;D

End of over 11 (10 runs) - Roo Boys!(47-1) RR 4.27
R. Furlonge 20 (19b) , K. Jaseam 20 (33b) , B. Hofman 1-0-10-0

End of over 13 (6 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(41-2) RR 3.15
J. Vidur 16 (29b) , S. Ritula 16 (38b) , H. Deware 2-0-9-0

Vidur got the teams first 4 on the last ball of that over from a misfield

well the boys have steadied the ship for now

End of over 13 (6 runs) - Roo Boys!(57-1) RR 4.38
K. Jaseam 21 (35b) , R. Furlonge 24 (29b) , B. Hofman 2-0-12-0

That's good :)

roo boys!

13.3   .   Inniss to Furlonge : [Yorker] Well played, Furlonge was expecting a shorter ball, and does well to adjust and keep out the attempted yorker.

Furlonge tooo good :D

End of over 14 (1 run) - The Brat Pack(62-2) RR 4.43
A. Kelly 9 (7b) , M. Nugawela 28 (48b) , A. Priyadarshini 2-0-11-1

Change of bowlers so them both pick up a wicket in their first over ;D
Looking a bit better now, but more wickets would be nice :)

roo boys!

That is the 50 partnership (50 runs, 60b, 4x4, 1x6) SR:83.33

:)

End of over 20 (maiden) - The Brat Pack(89-3) RR 4.45
S. Ryan 0 (2b) , A. Kelly 20 (25b) , A. Priyadarshini 5-1-23-2

Wicket maiden there :) Now both openers are out

roo boys!

End of over 23 (5 runs) - Roo Boys!(99-1) RR 4.30
K. Jaseam 40 (70b) , R. Furlonge 41 (56b) , D. Hayden 2-0-9-0

These two batting brilliantly!

8-6 Suited

Well I was cruising along at 0/72 when tragedy struck.

13.6   W   Ahsan to Pretty : [catch] An attempted sweep by the batsman has gone badly wrong. The ball is in McBeath's gloves and it's a long walk to the pavilion for Pretty.
M. Pretty c D. McBeath b. S. Ahsan 39 (50b 3x4 0x6) SR:78.00

Followed 6 balls and 1 run later by Ingall who managed a 5 ball duck.

14.6   W   de Haan to Ingall : This my friends is what we call a fruit salad. A peach of a delivery from de Haan that cut back onto the stumps, the batsman appearing to play his shot like he'd stepped on a banana skin and was obviously plum(b) before Ingall walked back to the pavilion looking redder than a watermelon.
H. Ingall lbw b. R. de Haan 0 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

Obviously shaken after losing his fellow opener, and then the opener talented Ingall, Stephens got a little luck 2 balls later...

15.2   .   Ahsan to Stephens : [dropped] Stephens plays the cut and gets a bottom edge. The deflection is just enough to cause McBeath to grass a tough chance.

An over later, the nerves still hadn't subsided...

16.5   .   de Haan to Stephens : [dropped] Stephens fires that straight back in the air at de Haan, who is unable to take the chance.

3 more overs later....

19.3   .   Ahsan to Stephens : [dropped] de Haan never got his hands in the right position for that chance, and an easy slip catch goes begging.

Seems like he really wants to join his mates back in the rooms.

End of over 23 (7 runs) - Tickle My Timber(101-2) RR 4.39
A. Sreedevan 12 (22b) , T. Stephens 37 (65b) , H. Allison 2-0-10-0

DazBurg

22.3   W   Francese to Ritula : Nicely flighted delivery on the stumps. Ritula goes for the sweep and is beaten comprehensively. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up towards short fine leg. Babb there moves across quickly to his left and nicely settles under it.
S. Ritula c N. Babb b. M. Francese 32 (72b 1x4 0x6) SR:44.44

lost ritula a couple of overs ago

End of over 24 (3 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(80-3) RR 3.33
J. Vidur 34 (57b) , T. Bryant 4 (4b) , M. Hussey 7-0-20-1

hmmm still worried

CrowsFan

Wow very lucky player there shaggy!!

End of over 24 (1 run) - The Brat Pack(105-4) RR 4.38
F. Mabothe 4 (7b) , A. Kelly 24 (39b) , B. Mlambo 7-1-24-1

8-6 Suited

24.4   W   Allison to Sreedevan : [stumped] Brilliance from Allison, and he fully deserves it too. Drags Sreedevan down the wicket, beats him in flight, and McBeath stumps him with consummate ease.
A. Sreedevan st D. McBeath b. H. Allison 13 (28b 1x4 0x6) SR:46.43

End of over 25 (7 runs) - Tickle My Timber(110-3) RR 4.40
T. Stephens 38 (69b) , J. Hogan 7 (2b) , H. Allison 3-0-17-1

Not too shabby at all. Half way to where I want to be.

roo boys!

flower Jaseam had to go out the second last ball before drinks ::)

24.5   W   Hayden to Jaseam : [catch] Jaseam goes for the sweep but the shot is not timed well and the top edge balloons up towards short fine leg.
K. Jaseam c A. Venkatesan b. D. Hayden 42 (74b 6x4 0x6) SR:56.76

At drinks:

    End of over 25 (8 runs) - Roo Boys!(110-2) RR 4.40
R. Furlonge 47 (65b) , W. Makinson 1 (1b) , D. Hayden 3-0-17-1

Stevenson was the first wicket to go, as expected, and they were putting on a really good partnership before Jaseam fell. Hopefully my middle order can stand up and bring it home well!

CrowsFan

BP almost identical to you shaggy. Except he has lost 4 wickets whereas you have only lost 3.
Would be nice to keep him under 200. If I get a few more quick wickets then I'm sure I can :)
