Yes and yes. Crap thing is poor bsatard  :-\ finally gets a crack and now bloody injured. But yeh definately has solved the downgrade issue.
Tipping if its 6 weeks he will need to go via Resi's so more like 8, doubt he would get thrown straight in.
All the talk of it being to easy this year, well injuries and byes have really put the cats amongst the pigeons, gonna be a fun season.

I probably would.... risk though. Round 3 can very easily turn into round 6, then round 9...
