they will only look smart if they improve on last year which i don't see happening especially early in the season

Freo's recruiting over the last couple of years has been excellent.... so I would say that Freo's recruiters have been very smart.

Might not be either - Mzungu was earmarked to take Rogers spot but Roger is also out for 8 - 10 weeks so they both could be fighting for the 1 spot.

Nope I am a realist. 

All the talk I am hearing was that Tendai was going to take Rogers spot while he was injured and then see what happens after that.  With them both coming back around the same time - it might not be so crystal clear as to who gets the nod.
