Are people getting too carried away with mid-range bargains?

Been burned too many times by the mid price curse, just thinking of the 'great pickups' of last year, Grey, Tippet, Higgins.... Premiums and Rookies all the way, with a few lower mid pricers in Petrie, Knights, Krak, Otten, most of the value in mid pricers seems to be in the forward line to me, with so many guns, and great rookies under 200k in the mids just cant select any there!

The only real mid pricers I am going for are ones I think are either going to make serious cash and maybe be a keeper. Eg Krak and Petrie or ones who I think will have a breakout and turn premium.
The other thing you need to remember about mid pricers is you need to pull the trigger quickly if they are not working. Dont say, just one more week, he will get it back.... arrrggghh Dangerfield last year.
Use the 2-3weeks early to work out is it going to happen, then move them off, for a rookie, or another mid who is working.
