I would like people to offer opinions on a mid price defender under $317k.

Def: God, Johncock, Enright, Grimes, Otten, Broughton, Heppell <Hibberd, Puopoulo, Duigan>

My thoughts are:-

Grover
Lonergan
Armfield
Mcphee
Goldsack

I am thinking maybe Armfield or Lonergan

Alternatively I can change things around and end up with a back line like this:-

God, Hurn, H.Taylor, Grimes, Otten, Duffman, Heppell <Hibberd, Puopoulo, Duigan>

Is this a better alternative?

I'd change Johncock for Johnson. Johnson will save you 50K and give you Mpp. Might average 5 to 10 less than Johncock thoough worth it I say.
I assume you have two Mpp in the middle? Gibbs and Del? Not sure you want to have both Heppell and Hibberd :-\
