Haven;t heard much about him during the pre-season.

Any idea if he's be playing and if so, any good?

Anyone had thoughts on picking him up?

Grazz

He played well in the Dee's last game aaparently, i have him in one side at present but unsure of his job security.
Im really at the stage of just waiting for the teams to be released the day before round 1 and see what rookies are playing
and make my final choices then, if Tapscott isnt in Round 1 then il drop him and use him later as a downgrade.

I rate him very highly, but his JS is a bit uncertain. As Grazz said wait until teams for round 1 are named and see whether he's in or not. If not could be a good downgrade option.

yeh im in same boat the kid can play, lets hope he does enough this week to get a guernsy for round 1. Currently have him on my bench

cheers for the info guys.
let us know how he goes this week.

as i guess with all rookies, Rnd 1 teams will decide most of our rookie picks.

From the looks of the way he plays and what he has been scoring he is basically a must have in my eyes. The only problem is my fwd line is pretty good so i don't know who to get rid of to get him in.
Basically its out of:
Yarran - Sure he pulled a 110 against GC but how many more 20's will he get?
or Darling/Richardson/Matera - all look like they have good js and will avg about 60, all will be decent cash cows.
Is it worth getting Tapscott in for any of these players?

Fenno

Nope. I missed the boat with Tapscott aswell but no use chasing him he will only make 50k more than your other rookies so unless you think a trade is worth 50k like me its bad luck

+1 on the same boat and doing the exact same thing.

glam77

think his JS might be ok now!  ;D

bundyboy

too late....not burning a trade for him, even though he does look better than the rest of thev rookie fwds I have...just need to wait a little longer on mine before I trade up...

I would love to have him in but Darling/Richo ok in place of.  Too sideways at this point.

is downgrading a knights/petrie/yarran for tapscott a good move? kid is averaging 80 and looks ready made for AFL. big lad for 19!

Holz

i dont think its worht trading unless a player is really peforming badly in your team for me that foley and atley thats why the trade to cunrow is feasible, most of the forward rookies are performing fine and petrie, yarran are performing well.

DO NOT even think of touching knights
